Bloody Hell, I'd forgotten all about this! As a child, I was spoiled: what with Cliff and the Shadows giving usounds like this and the emerging sounds of the beatles et al.
I rank Cliff right up there with my other favourites, Elvis, Ricky Nelson, and Johnny Tillotson. here in Canada we did get some of his releases, and you are right, he should have been much bigger here and in the U.S.
I remember the girl and the night and I wonder where she is today - probably an old grandparent like me wondering what happened to that idiot she used to hang around with
Love the electric bass/piano combo in this song which the Beatles used to more extensively and to much greater effect on their second English album 'With the Beatles' Anyone know if this recording predates 'With the Beatles'?
The sleave you see. Still exist. I should know. I had them all. If this guy moved , I knew it ... And when he stops moving. I will also know. The King of Move it!!

Probably my favorite of all of Cliff's songs. I'm in agreement with everyone else. It amazes me he wasn't more popular in the States. I don't get it!

Fantastic driving song. Wasn't / isn't Cliff fantastic? The Shadows excellent as always. What a pity we have to get old.
