  • Okay, a couple of things. Look at the way in which they are executing their movement. You can't tell me that that is not freely moving, it's so interpretive, and beautiful. Secondly, the term Yamakasi is not necessarily referring to the art of Parkour or free running, but it can also refer to something else similar to both of them. In Lingala, Yamakasi means "strong man, strong spirit." Also, David Belle should be proud. He helped found Yamakasi, among other great movement artists. Got it?

  • well, it doesn't have the same objective as regular parkour, however, they were obviously using the techniques used in parkour. So, in a sense, it really is parkour, just with a spin on it.
