  • @mlmr11 what standard is that ? 1st hand experience ? planning a trip yourself to finally settle the argument ?

  • @mlmr11 shakey according to whom. questionable to whom ? funny how many amateurs prarrie-dog up onto this subject due to the anomalies observed when we landed on the moon as if they have any credible experience at all to be judging anything associated with what the crews observed during the flights - landings. there has never been any credible proof of a hoax just marginal uneducated speculation about phenomenon they know nothing about. wild claims without any proof.

  • Very nice, thanks. Who did the music?

  • Conspiracy theorist suffer from the Barnum effect... there is a sucker born to buy their BS every minute. They also suffer from severe myopia. They can't see the forest for the trees in front of them. Penn and Teller do a bang up job researching this particular conspiracy theory. Video Titled: "Penn and Teller Bullshit - Moon conspiracy"

  • Hey GTP,

Do you think it would be possible to put the stereo image up on your web page?

It would be good to have it as an image....

Also have you thought about trying to submit it to the Astronomy picture of the day site?

  • @mlmr11 Conspiracy theorists can't explain the unique moon rocks and soil samples which were brought back by the Apollo missions. Scientists have been examining the rocks and soil for 40 years. In the last two years alone, over 40 research papers have been published about some of the unique properties found in either the soil or the rocks. The unique subatomic and microscopic properties of the rocks and soil are impossible to fake.

  • @GoneToPlaid The alleged acquisition of moon rocks doesn't prove ,beyond doubt, NASA's position to be authentic.

  • @GoneToPlaid There has been lots of moon rock/soil samples brought back by robotic sample collectors, this point of "how are geologists examining moon rock if we didn't go there to bring it back" is one a friend of mine makes as his dad is a geologist who has examined them, when i point out about the robotic collectors there's no reply, just throwing it into the mix.............

  • @smokebeerdrinktabs And then again the Apollo astronauts received extensive geology training in order to know how to read the terrain and look for the important rocks which should be collected. It was this training which resulted in seeing the Genesis Rock for what it was from a distance, even though the top of it was covered with aeons of micrometeorite dust, and then taking the time to go and collect it.

  • We have bin on the moon before, I just think there are thinks on there that the government dose not want us to se so they make fake videos and Apollo 15 we did land on the moon, but I don't think apollo 11 did.

  • @graffiti0saves The LRO images prove that Apollo 11 was real because every boulder and fairly small crater seen in the Apollo 11 EVA photographs is visible exactly where it should be in the LRO photographs. The high resolution photographs of the Apollo 11 landing area taken by the 1960's era Lunar Orbiter have nowhere close to the resolution needed to show these landing site details which have now been confirmed by the LRO.

  • @GoneToPlaid,

You are a smart guy! Glad there are still people like you!

I'd like the hoax theorists explain how do the reflectors that "were never left there" - can reflect a laser beam right here right now. Those silly people are jsut not educated enough, so instead of thinking - they choose their position from what they are presented.

Apollo was real, we have all the evidence and all you could probably want to prove it was real - get voer it and stop trashing!

  • I wonder what the hoaxers are using as an excuse on this one?

  • @ElGatoLoco698 Oh, its going to get much better than this -- after the end of August. Then I will be presenting LRO 3D stereo anaglyph views of all of the Apollo landing sites.

  • @ElGatoLoco698 Hey guy , no hoaxter here , was really hoping these pics would lay this to rest .... Is the shadow of the LM facing the opposite direction of the light source or is it just me?

  • @joecanukk just you, lol the light source is coming from the left side of the screen

  • thank u 4 the vid :)

  • Love the music

  • Deconvolved....enhanced......in other words altered, in your own words, right there, what do you think, I/we are complete idiots ? you guys Moon scammers don't have much respect for me/us, do you. And you certainly don't have much dignity, do you.

  • @kennjohnsen Yes, I think that you are a complete idiot if you are incapable of doing your own research for yourself in order to prove to yourself that the moon landings were real. Besides, you idiot, why in the hell would NASA after 40 years try to perpetuate a moon landing hoax? I take it that you believe that the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) SELENE/Kaguya images of the landing sites which show bright plumes at each landing site are faked as well? You are a shining example of sheer stupidity.

  • @kennjohnsen Were you born a complete retard?

  • @lukascoa...Lets see you do it Mr. 3rd grader. Tell us when you're done so we can have a look at it, okay?

  • This proves that the Moon landing hoaxsters don't have a thought of their own, but prefer to believe their parent state fairy tale.

  • @kennjohnsen ....this proves that you delusional conspiracists are done nonnsekenn...time to find another conspiracy to rant about.

  • Amazing video. I did compare your video with Apollo 15 lift off one and matches perfectly. Congratulations. Salute from Brazil.

  • Computer generated images can be made from kids age 12 today.

In reality the LROC fiasco was the final element needed to convince the last remaining Apollo fans that the landings were indeed hoaxes.

Interesting how even president Obama cleverly enough used the Moon Hoax to threaten his opponents the other day.Bad music again BTW.

  • @potrodsas You are a hoot. Just what LROC fiasco are you talking about? So far the LRO mission has been a splendid success, having completed its commissioning and nominal mission phases, and now moving on to its extended science phase. And already the LRO team is planning on putting the LRO into a stable long term lunar orbit so that it can continue its mission for several years.

  • @GoneToPlaid

Good plan ! I fully support the idea ! That will be very good! Someday in the distant future we can have some for very long anticipated(42 fucking years)photographs of the Apollo "remains" again from the"Moon"!! Great. But not just photoshop dots this time please!I also understand you are wait for the Indian astronaut Aladdin and his 7 brothers to go to the Moon in the year 2988 so they can prove Apollo was real..and I also feel pretty enthusiastic for that too! I'll wait! !!

  • @potrodsas "But not just photoshop dots this time please!I"

Really? So you look at 1:43, for instance, and call that a "photoshop dot?"

How about this: how about you prove manipulation of the raw LROC images. How about backing up your claims? How about proving GtP's deconvolved images are somehow not accurate representations of the Apollo 15 site? So far, we only have your word that LROC photos have been forged. And frankly, your word isn't worth one red cent.

    Show your evidence!

  • @roamingcroat Shadow off 180 degrees for one

  • @joecanukk How can you tell?

I mean, every crater in the shot has the shadow on the left side, which is consistent with the sun being off to the left, and consistent with the descent stage's shadow being to the right.

So obviously you don't mean that. There's at least one other explanation for what you can mean, but I'll let you say it. So, why is the shadow "off 180 degrees?"

  • @roamingcroat light source is coming form the left side of the screen, craters will be dark on the left side, the LEM descent stage will cast a shadow to the right, that is not 180' off.

  • @joecanukk The LRO photos were taken February 3, 2010. You can use the free astronomy program called Celestia to see the phase of the moon for that date. You can set that date in Celestia, pause time, go to the Apollo 15 landing site, and see for yourself the altitude and bearing of the sun in the lunar sky. But I am certain that you won't take the time to do this since you obviously believe that the moon landings were a hoax.

  • @joecanukk no its not. light source is coming form the left side of the screen

  • @potrodsas Then have fun waiting, and in the meantime shut your trap.

  • @GoneToPlaid Excellent posts of the LRO images.More than predictable that the hardcore twoofers would instantly condemn them as "fake",but if NASA took these guys to Tranquility and rubbed their face in Armstrong`s bootprint they`d still claim they were in "area 51".For the interested neutral, however, your image vids are excellent (I have referred many here myself).Keep up the good work my friend, these idiot conspiracy theorists and their anti-intellectual fascism must be confronted!

  • @potrodsas

So I guess you are another one that believes radiation was the main reason to hoax the moon landings? Do you believe solar neutrinos are dangerous like all those other hoax radiation experts?

  • @potrodsas 'The last remaining...' Ha! Genuinely idiotic! Why don't you produce the percentages of who believes Apollo was a hoax and where? Especially amongst the worldwide scientific community. I think you'll find you and your feeble-minded ilk are in a tiny, tiny minority. Carry on dreaming, you are clearly perfectly delusional.

  • @potrodsas Hey potty, you'll use the data that the LRO sent back that help define the neutron bombardment on the lunar surface to prove the landings were faked, but you'll dismiss the pictures from the LRO and the LRO it's self as fake, am I correct in my assumption?

  • @potrodsas "Computer generated images can be made from kids age 12 today.

In reality the LROC fiasco was the final element needed to convince the last remaining Apollo fans that the landings were indeed hoaxes."

So according to you, we are paying the Japanese to be complicit and go along with this latest hoax. And you also believe that NASA would be stupid enough to pay for images they knew ahead of time would never convince doubters the missions happened. Not much for critical thought are u

  • No rational human being can look at this video from 1:43 on and deny we landed on the Moon. Even anti-American anarchists who love to use the Moon threads to rage "against the machine" must realize now that they have to take their fight elsewhere.

  • Brilliant! Some really nice work.

  • Yeah because it's SOOO HARD for Nasa to fake photos THEY TOOK!

  • For any rational person to view this video from 1:43 on and not fully understand that man landed on the Moon would lead one to question the true agenda of that person. This is outstanding, kudos GTP.

  • Top notch quality work, as always.

Some day I hope we have a webcams on all Apollo landing sites. Those places are historical landmarks already, after all.

One hi-rez stereo shot every couple of hours would do just fine :-]

  • @BlisterHiker I would like to see a web cam with a powerful zoom lens spiked into the ground atop Mount Hadley so that the world could see the entire Apollo 15 landing site as well as all of the rover traverses. That would be mind blowing to see.

  • "I would like to see a web cam with a powerful zoom lens spiked into the ground atop Mount Hadley"

    @GoneToPlaid

That's a great idea! 10..20 mpixel resolution, like with DSLRs, powerful lens, and just imagine long exposure shots at night, when the landscape is illuminated with light reflected off the Earth...

My Goodness, why aren't we doing things like that already! Wouldn't that be a fantastic way to motivate young people?! Such system could work for many years!

  • @BlisterHiker

"Such system could work for many years!"

Well BH, I'm a volunteer to get the cameras there and place them in position. And who knows, I might see Jarrah there as well (if he raises his millions...). Now *that* would result in some shots...!

  • "I might see Jarrah there as well (if he raises his millions...)"

    @Rob260259

My friend, we both know J. White will never get his millions and that was not his goal.

His pathetic fundraiser is all publicity stunt. Much more than money, he desires attention.

Of course, I have nothing against you taking a trip. The Dutch are born explorers :-]

Seriously, with the speed the space turism is progressing, who knows, maybe orbital flights will become affordable to people like us in next two decades.

  • @BlisterHiker

    :-)

  • Very good work as usual. The detail in the tracks is incredible. I am beginning to think it is time to stop addressing specific claims and concentrate on the real evidence for the landings. It really is best to leave the likes of Jarrah alone, and let him have his celebrity here at YT. For me, this video is like that. It deals with the reality rather than saying 'people believe there is a hoax, and this is why I think not.' Being educators should be what we, as humans, are about.

  • Very nice video GoneToPlaid, thank you.

  • Drat, now I just need a pair of 3d glasses.

    Cool video.

    What is that at 3:40?

  • @ytmoog That would be Apollo 15's lunar rover where it was parked to video the LM ascent.

  • @ytmoog My thoughts exactly. I need to go out and buy a pair of 3d specs.
