but yeah it is a tough conflict, i am a VERY honest person but when it comes to dealing with people i jus don't liek or especially people that think they know me but clearly dont if they ask me a simple liek my favorite color or where i get my clothes from i will lie because whats the point in arguing, why give them the truth to fuck up, plus they are the last type person i want in my brain or personal space to any extent

I agree that it's better to be honest to friends at the start. If you lie to them to make them happy but somebody else tells them the blunt truth, you're going to be in a worse situation.
