  • I know this one.

This was the Christmas where my parents tape the Never-ending Story on VHS for me when it aired on this channel.

    That was a good year.

  • I Loved this christmas BBC1 Ident back in the day I can't believe Ghost was premiered on BBC1 in 1993 I remember I watched Ghost when it first aired in 1993 I Loved the BBC1 Idents in the 90's but now the Idents are crap now it makes me feel nostalgic when I see the early Idents I used to sit with my family we used to watch christmas movies on BBC1 how things have changed nowadays on christmas they just show alot of repeats

  • one of my most favourite xmas idents shame the newer ones are crap compared to this

  • Agreed, idents back then were much more imaginitive compared to now, especially the christmas ones. Having said that the idents starring Wallace and Gromit they used last year wern't so bad. But i was never keen on the xmas Penguins or the giant snowball idents.

  • Hiya I was wondering do you have any full six 0 clock news bulletins from the virtual era anyway this is a very good clip

  • and peter offer is the announcer

  • the christmas idents of the eighties were 1000000 times better than the crap we have now

  • ghost was a movie premier?fucking hell this is old

  • Ghost came out in 1990. This ident was in 1993. Usually Terrerstrial TV have to have a 3 year wait for premiere movies to be shown.

  • I wonder why they don't do christmas idents like these anymore. Stupid political correctness!

  • tht was my 1st christmas night!!! it was 1 of my mums best christmas of her life
