The NY Phil w Bernstein and Nadien playing extended solos recorded the entire ballet. It was in a big LP set and years ago there was a copy at the NY Pub Library at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts branch. It's gone missing. Does anyone have a copy? I'd love to hear the violin solos.
That's David Nadien, a brilliant violinist whose sensitive musicianship and extraordinary vibrato producing such a heartfelt sound is second to none. He's got some solo recordings well worth checking out. He's still alive, still teaching in New York.
I agree with the above statements.

This solo cannot possibly be played better than this, by any concertmaster or concert violinist. Magical.
