I have one and it has worked fine for me for years. My only issue with it is that it's a little heavy, so I really don't recommend it for long distance hikes (like the Appalachian Trail), but it's perfect for car camping when fires aren't allowed, or a few days of backpacking. Or even as a backup (like I use it for now) if I'm backpacking for a few days while testing out a new stove (like an alcohol stove) and don't want to risk several days of cold food.
What a pitty modern Coleman products are not built as robust or to the same standards as those prior to 1970. Want a good stove look for military 530 or the original camping stove the 500 and you will have a stove that will last a lifetime and burns camping fuel or gasoline
I have one of these that I bought at a Yard sale. I wanted one so that I can include it in my Hurricane kit. Nice and portable and well built. But, I see that you are no longer selling it on your site, neither is Coleman. Is there a hazard problem with it?
Ok lets start cooking!

Nice video. I picked up one of these stoves at Walmart. It's very sturdy and performs great. I've always had positive results with Coleman products.
