@qochemist I have read that some people use it to cut fabric but I have not. I think the blade would get dull quick and snag it. I only cut paper. There are cartridges with shapes and fonts and I have a few. The Sure Cuts a Lot program lets me use any font on my computer. Only problem: it doesn't work with newer machines because of a lawsuit by the parent company. The program still works w/Black Cat Lynx. I use it for scrapbooking and randomness as seen in the video.

Very nice... you can hang earrings from the scarf... Now I want a cricket machine... Do you have a video on it? What kinds of things can you use it for? Does it only work to cut out paper or can you use it to cut out fabric too?

What cartridge did you use on you cricut?

@1mrsjackie It wasn't a particular cartridge. I've had my Cricut for a while so the Sure Cuts A Lot programs works on it. Do you have a Cricut too?

@1mrsjackie awww. . . sorry. I wonder if you can still find the SCAL version 2? I know SCAL 3 will not work with Cricut. Try eBay or Amazon!

This is cute....you can use the thin foam core it comes in black and white...how do you use this? I didn't see chescalocs video.

@TheGpmdesigns I put a link to her video in the description box. Girl, I hopped out of bed to create this project - hence the bathroom and barefeet in the shot! I did not have any foam core and was anxious to give it a go! It's really decor and not functional.

@TheGpmdesigns Ummmm. . . you would have a huge battle trying to wrestle that Cricut from me! My first Cricut was the baby bug and I bought it on a whim and thought I didn't really need or want one. I got it home and fell in love and knew that I HAD to have the larger one. I still use them both. The baby bug travels with me. You know I'll help you. But I am using special software that no longer works with the Cricut but with another machine. I don't own it -- yet! LOL!
