For those who don't know, yes, the song is by ray charles, but jerry lee lewis played it, like he played other rockn'roll songs from other people like johnny b good by chuck berry and good golly miss molly by little richard. but every time jerry lee played a song, he played like it like anyone else. The killer's style!

Its What'd I Say. He recorded it and had a minor hit at Sun Records in 61, I believe. Then he re-recorded it at The London Session in 1973. Its also a part of Live at The Star Club, one of the best live versions. =) Thanks for ur comment!

Also you can put thumb tacks on the hammers to get a honky-tonk sound. It's the difference between a wooded hammer and a metal one.

Great style and flavor--yrs ago a fellow tuner and friend tuned for a Hoagy Carmichael show and then was asked to "de-tune" the unisons a little as the piano sounded too "clean"--you are on my favorites
