I have used TypePad for years. It is awesome. Bottom line, I have a blog to write. I don't want to fuck around with lots of technical shit (it drives me crazy). I pay $49.00 dollars a year (I just checked my account). I don't know if this is the going rate now, but I got on TypePad several years ago. If you are serious about hits, you need it.

Hey thanx, for the advice, Typepad really makes it simple, and really 15 bucks is nothing when you get the easy set up and control without having to spend days trying to make your blog look right. will recomend to my friends.

Scott, again, I love blogger - because it's easy for a non-techy - but it is limited and does look "free." Wordpress is OK, but I have to get my tech person to install stuff and go into my FTP blah, blah. Pain....So now, I will look at typepad and get one up and running. I like having control and being bold -------and I never want to look "free."

What is so hard about installing Wordpress? You only have to mod 3 files, and setup 1 database! If you can't do that perhaps it's time to sell your PC. My 8 year old set up her blog in around 10mins Inc the time it took to download the software.
