@robalonfrog It depends on the song. Some songs can be learned within 30 minutes, some it may take days to get the proper technique down.

I don't really try and learn a song within a time period though. I learn it when I learn it.

@Shreddinkevin93 Haha, no. I suck at sweeping, I never got the technique down unfortunately. I prefer to do things such as legato, double string bends and sixteenth note scale runs etc. My solos incorporate a lot more feel and can sometimes sound bluesy too.
