  • nice! this video help me a lot..

  • There's lots of French in English. I didn't realize there were so many French words in the English language: chef, cuisine, boulevard, camouflage, débris, début, bouquet, grand prix, façade, chandelier, chauffeur, cajole, arbitrage, naïve, nonchalant, matinée, macabre, entrée, résumé, communiqué, tranche, en route, rendez-vous, prix fixe, fiancée, and a whole lot more.

  • France&England... love 'em both.

  • 我覺得法文好好玩

  • Nobody says "bon après-midi" for good afternoon --'

I'm French and I'm sure we say "bonjour" all the time except for good evening which is "Bonsoir"

  • isnt how are you? --> comment êtes-vous? but she says how are you? is comment allez-vous?? please some one who know french really well help me!!! :-(

  • Comment vas-tu is how are you? For informal and comment allez-vous is for formal.

  • ohh thanks alot :-) so this means wat i wrote earlier is wrong both ways formal or informal...thanks neways...merci :-)

  • De rien! :D

  • Both are good

  • Comment allez-vous is like "how's it going?"

Comment etes-vous is like "how are you?"

  • Thanks :-) its getting clear each day

  • ??? u still need to learn dude,..both sentences in french means the samething...and i doubt some1 will say comment etes-vous....that sentence is never used in french...when french ppl will ask you how u feel they will say Comment allez-vous..

  • @probounderxxx

    Um....

    1. How are you, and how's it going are basically the same thing anyways.

    2. Those two are basically the same but not entirely.

    3. That was a month ago.

    4. I don't know why you are trying and failing to prove me wrong.

  • ??? in french the sentence comment etes-vous is a sentence that no1 will ever use bec only some1 retarded would say that....and i dunno why u trying to prove me ur right bec my native language is french u dipshit

  • @probounderxxx

I don't care if you are a native speaker, I know native english speakers who have brutal grammar. Just because you speak it doesn't mean you are right.

And I don't give a damn if that isn't said as much, it doesn't make it wrong you moron.

So I'm not going to waste anymore time on a dumbass like you.

Go play some more computer games kid.

  • ok then ill make it simple for you to understand...that sentence " IS NOT USED IN ANY SENTENCES bec its not the right grammar!!" its like if i were saying " hi me not good "

and one more thing...just by saying "go play some more computer games kid" let me think ur a 12 years old...for ur information i dont play any games bec its just boring!

  • @probounderxxx for reals wat about comment je apellez

  • "comment je appelez" not the right way to say it...u should say " comment est-ce que je peux appeler ? "

  • On dit "Bon après-midi" et non "Bonne après-midi". Allez vous cultivez putain

  • Oui :D

  • Tre bien xD Elle est une putain. :D

  • I love how she doesn't tell us that "salut" and "ca va" are to be used in conversations with familiar people..... And the phrase for "see you later" is "a tout a l'heure."

    Duh.

  • I thought that ca va could be used in formal conversation as well

  • No, it is generally used in familiar conversation. It's kinda like "what's up".

  • its because shes asian

  • i speak french but her accent actually seems kinda off.. maybe she is from the south or not paris??? je ne sais pas mais cette video est drooole!!

  • @SumaMachan her accent is awful, she actually sounds like she has a disability of some sort

  • I'm french and she has a very strange accent.

  • Comment removed

  • I barely speak french, but I can tell she is saying a lot of words with a weird accent like "bien" and "rien" and "demain" she pronounces them weirdly.

  • shs speaking with out a quebecan accent, shes european...they speak not the same...i speak french a bit and i live in quebec and ive been to francemcompletley diffrent..

  • scary eyes lol at 1:14 lol made me laugh BEAUCOUP

  • Lol i'm starting to love her.=)

  • J'arrive pas à savoir si c'est une Anglosaxonne qui parle Français ou une Française qui parle Anglais...

  • elle a un accent aussi pourri en français qu'en anglais

  • je me pose la même question xD

  • if you come in france and you say "bonne après midi" to me i think i will laugh, good afternoon in french is "bonjour" too. In fact you say "bonjour" from the morning to the evening. "bonsoir" is for the evening. you can also say "salut" for all situation. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night, bye and hi can be translated by "salut" its easier for all and we don't care about those formalities.

  • c'etait tres bien, merci!!!!!!!!

  • It all depends on how well you pick up things. Both French and German are latin based languages. Some will find German easier and some will find French easier. I think French is easier, but I was raised speaking it as my second language. German, I have tried, but it is hard to learn a language on your own without a teacher. My high school never offered it, so I stuck with French since I knew I would ace the class.

    Au Revoir!

  • german a latin based language ? ? With all due respect I think you're wrong :) Latin based: French, italian , spanish , portuguese...Salut !

  • dibathory- german is definitely not a latin based language.

Romantic (latin based) languages are spanish, french, portuguese, italian, and romanian.

German is *gasp* a GERMANIC language, as well as norwegian, swedish, danish, icelandic, and english.

    So, no. Not latin based.

  • FRANCE FTW.

  • france

  • Thanks for your videos. Merci

  • Merci! :)

  • It's not very smart to teach sentences with liaisons without explanations : in "bon après-midi", "bon" doesn't sound the same way as in "bon voyage". It needs to be explained as, even for french, it's difficult. So for foreigners...

  • I learned french in high school but that was around ten years ago and I've lost a b it of it, but this is helping me remember.

  • merci beacoup

  • thank you very much...merci

  • THANK YOU finally someone who says it slowly so i can see the lip movements.

    SO HELPFUL 5 STARS

  • Your "Learn French" system is very simple & good. Being able to SEE & hear the word/phrase - then hear the slow "broken down" of it is so helpful - thanks

  • whats harder to learn french or german....

  • French is harder in my opinion.

  • I think German is harder. At least it is for me.

  • @PrinceZukoMarley yeah german is harder haha, its sooo hard that i don't even wanna learn it :\

  • @PrinceZukoMarley I totally agree...German is soo hard! been learning for 7 years and I still cant get the genders right :(

  • @PrinceZukoMarley I dont know... french is hard... But just cant give up on it... French FTW!!!

  • i think german is harder

  • Its so great that you speak it slow I'm finally getting all of the sounds! Mouth moves area great for showing me how to pronounce a word. thanks Yvonne

  • oui je suis vraiment Apprendre le français

  • So "ca va" means both "that's fine" and "how are things"? I'm a little lost. :(

  • «Ça va?» as a question (raise your voice at the end to indicate that you are asking a question) means, "Are things going well?" or, "How are things?"

«Ça va» or «ça va bien» can be responses to this question, meaning "Yes, things ARE going well."

    I hope that helps!

  • She looks FUNNY!

  • If Salut Means Hi Does It Also mean Bye?

Because She Seems To Say That At The End As Bye

When She Also Said It As Hi :S
