is it just me or does the gentle, mournful oddity of the melody on this track (not to mention the waltz beat) just scream JON BRION? no complaints here, though - am a huge fan and am thrilled to hear his aesthetic elevated by mehldau's musicianship

And Redman is simply one of the best saxophones of all time.

I've just recently heard of Brad Mehldau and know he's done some collaborating with Pat Metheny, who I love. I heard this song on my local college jazz radio station and made note of who did the piece so I could hopefully find it here on YT. Beautiful tune, very meloncholic. :-)
