I know because a) I am an Ibanez fanboy, b) I have a 1550 myself, and c) I've been subbed to him for a long time, and i know he said that this is a 1550. He's actually the reason I bought mine.

Excellent tone. I've always played metalcore and guitar in general in Drop C or Drop D but I got my Prestige S series and don't want to mess with it. I've noticed that writing in E standard is so much different. Not necessarily harder, but realllly different and making a metalcore riff in E that sounds heavy without a low tuning is a challenge so I really respect this. Excellent job. Also, amazing playing... simply stunning.

@RossJP09 In Metalcore and Melodic Death Metal, there will often be a lot of Phrygian and Aeolian mode use. Often lots of open low-string chugs, triplets, tremolo picking, single note melody lines, and guitar harmonies. Sometimes simple chord progressions backing the lead guitar in a solo or melody and dropped tunings are often used, such as D standard, C standard, Drop C and Drop B :)
