WOW! This video actually inspired me to create an account! I agree with Kawallmoke...more travel videos on YT!! As far as NV is concerned.....good for them! They made a great commercial....better than a crappy one, right? I LOVE their all-nut bars...and they're more natural than some of the bagged mixes (for all those haters out there). I feel like planning my next trip....what's this Mount Desert Island I keep hearing about? One of those secretive "National Parks", I think....
Thank you so much for sharing your nature valley. I personally love the sea as well. I am currently residing in Halifax, a coastal city in the Atlantic province of Nova Scotia and the Water Front provides me with the perfect nature valley to get rid of all my stress.
Dear sea kayers on Mount Desert Island: Prepare for a huge wave of kayak tourists headed your way because of Nature Valley's sharing one man's secret place to commune with nature... Had NV not included the scene of the kaykaer opening one of their products, it would be a better film.
Mines anywhere at the top of a crag i've just climbed in the middle of nowhere. climbing sets me free, scares me but makes me appreciate my life. each climb i do, each fall i survive makes me more aware of the great life i have and the power of nature to take that life from me in a heart beat. i have seen friends get hurt, one broke his back tho didnt realise for 2 months :s and ive had my fair share of falls but its goes with the sport.
great video grew up a block from the Atlantic ocean myself~~~ any time I am near water is the closest place to heaven on earth always for me!! life is short play hard and be kind~~~
Sea kayaking amongst nature really is exactly what the guy says... But i'd sooner eat packing peanuts than those Nature Valley bars. Gimme 4 bags of Trader Joe's dried mango slices and i'll paddle to Juno from Seattle. ... oh yeah, i already did that.
Thanks, I'll look for it! While bicycling over 15,000 miles around the US & Canada, I saw a kayaker in the San Juan Islands who had a pedal powered kayak, using his paddles for steering. Silly or cool?
Great video. But put your marketing dollars in your product. Why cant you all make a high quality snack bar without canola oil(aka rapeseed oil). The lowest quality food oil on the world market. How about a gluten free one too.
I really liked this video! This is the best Nature Valley Granola Bar Commercial I have seen so far. Good Luck David!!

55,000 views, 23 comments? Amazing how a little money can put you up on the most viewed, eh?
By the way, I don't think Nature Valley really cares where my Nature Valley is.

You are yourself in this video, which is great!
You are what you are with mother nature, which is a greater feeling!
You are with HIM, secured and safe, which is the greatest feeling.
How lucky you are, keep so, brother.

Great comment! I'd love to read about your long paddle! Just started reading a book by a Appy Trail through-hiker, called Dead Men Hike No Trails.

Story will probably be in a 08 issue of Sea Kayaker magazine.
