sologuitar player is Hans van Eijk, together with Jan de Hont the Dutch Hank B Marvin's. Both excellent guitar players and the closest thing to the great Mr.Hank B
I am a fan of HBM myself, but I don't he is unbeaten like you say. Besides Hans of JJ, Nokie Edwards and Bob Bogle of Ventures can give HBM a run for his money. It's a matter of individual perception mate!
gawd! I saw them live in the 60's and Hans van Eijk had this very 'clean' Strat tone. Hell, - I still do his "Irish Washerwoman" as a warm-up exercise when I have a guitar in my hands. Thanks for the inspiration, Hans!
Brings back memories of my teenage years. In my country, those days we were only able to listen to them on the radio, there were no video clips as such. I would like to see them performing "Irish Washer Woman". Anyone having the clips ?

Leuke upload, blijft altijd fijn om te horen.
Hans is een muziek vriend en zie hem nog regelmatig.
Ook nu nog een enorm goede gitarist.

brilliant guitarist.
but to surgest that they are as good as the SHADOWS. is rediculous.
HBM is a genius and makes a sound on a stratocaster that others just cant get. its the player you know.
the VENTURES are good but play those dam awful MOSRITE guitars.
HANK MARVIN . GREATEST SOUNDING GUITARIST EVER

I would like to know the average age of those making this type of posting. Sounds as though it is straight out of the school playground.
