  • excelent video........how do you manage to do/have a little 2nd video playing in the corner of the screen, aswell as the main screen..id love to do that with my flying clips..well done for the great clip

  • @rickydmax I did that on a Mac using iMovie but you can also do that on a windows machine using Adobe Premiere using two timelines both synced together

  • You where going side ways from the wind!? what a ride! good job bring it in! where to buy goggles that do not break the bank? great job guys!

  • @soldier53flyer1 We got our monitor from ebay

  • @soldier53flyer1 Thanks I have an idea on Goggles that could do the trick. Just waiting on some gear from ebay first.

  • like this FPV-Flight video!

  • another great video Paul and Thomas, pretty blustery conditions too

  • @BMSWEB Yeah, perspective is tricky. At a Km y' probably couldn't see the Plane...(?). Keep up the good work. I used R/C to get my kids to have fun understanding Aerodynamics, without wanting to sit in the bit that crashes...(I'm an Ultralight-ologist that grew out of the phase... Search '1975 Skycraft Scout', or 'Autodidactic Test Flying' to see those doings).

    Ciao.

  • @BMSWEB

Wow, that's amazing..! I thought it would be way more than that...

    Thanks.

    Ciao.

  • @WarblesOnALot Well without the OSD I would have said I was a kilometer away :) I never knew how close we actually fly. Mind you at 360 meters away there is no way you can tell what the aircraft is doing visually. Some longer range flights soon :)

  • You just couldn't wait to try out the new goggles huh, lol. Hey there's a storm right over there, let's get the plane up quickly!!

Great to see your set up is complete guys. I'm looking forward to the next exciting video. :)

  • @rogueqd It wasn't my idea. My mate JB came over to do some FPV with his TriCopter . . what an insane day to come over! We had no choice but to give it a go lol

  • I got my bixler with everything today. Setting everything up still, looking forward to flying. @SubatomicRC I recommend using uThere's Ruby device. It's worked great for me and is really much more powerful than any others on the maerket.

  • Very nice. How much (roughly) did it all cost ? Thanks for posting.

  • @WarblesOnALot I have all the items in my Descriptions. I think OSD 100, VideoTX/RX and Camera $80, IBCrazy antennas if you make them yourself $15-25, New lens 5, Monitor 50. This doesn't count goggles, model, RC Gear etc

  • @BMSWEB where can I get a Monitor for $50.?

  • :) Another Outstanding Video By Paul & Thomas,.. Question!! have you considered using the FY-21 AP/ OSD for Flight stabilization/ Autopilot/ Return to Home Function? i think its about $299.00USD. Also is that the Stock Motor/ESC, or Aftermarket Products? any info would be Great.

  • @SubatomicRC I haven't had a chance to look at the FY-21. At the moment the focus is on getting Thomas' FPV gear together, but I will have a look at it.
