Because English is obviously not your primary language, I'm going to assume that you mean "Original" or "Creative" in the place of "Authentic".

Well, the reason I feel like the cover is worthwhile is because it transfers a pop song to a folk song. In many ways, I prefer this cover to the original. This cover seems to handle the subject matter of the song seriously, whereas the original gets the message obscured behind a lot of extra noise.
