The song have no name actuary, but I call this "Daeron's farewell to Neldoreth", for the lyric says of Luthien's and Daeron's lament for his lost love.
@Tanarilla113 Linno Tyrys a tathar ar eraig Tiro a mir o Neldoreth Linnol le cenin Tinuviel dithen Ben elenath slivren silar. Ed annon na daur Raith arnoidiad telin na chared Lasto gannel nin dinen, ard mor di mith dim Meneg yeni anirannen Tinuviel dithen uthodron Onen meleth le far ava athan nin harna! Sorry I can't type umlaut or accent.
tnx,I'm not good at English and a novice at Sindarin but the song says: Sing,ye Trees, and see the Jewel of Neldoreth. Singing I saw you, dear little Tinuviel glimmering like stars. Out of the gate into woods far I tread ways unnumbered. Hear my silent harp, o dark land beneath gray mists. So long years I desired little, unfaithful Tinuviel, You have taken enough of my heart so hurt me no more. well it's Daeron's POV.
to my ears Sindarin sounds better, but a lot of people prefer Quenya.
Quenya is easier to learn, and there are more words, however it's really only useful for poetry. If you speak a Romance language you'll find the grammar easier.
However Sindarin is far more useful, although there are less words, the words we do have are far more useful for everyday things, and making words is easier. For speakers of Germanic languages the grammar will be easier.
please, I understand quenya perfectly, but this song is in sindarin, and I can only recongise some isolated words. could someone please write at least a part of the lyrics of this beautiful song??

エルフ語講座で配られた教材に乗っていた短い一文につけたメロディから曲を作り、合うように言葉を当てはめました。文法・綴り間違いを指摘されるのがこわくて(笑)自作自演です。

Im learning sindarin right now.
But I need some guidence..
Where can I find a good tutorials on how to pronounce words?
Because my tutorial doesnt cover that..
MrGameProject 1 year ago
@MrGameProject
I learned from Prof.Ito of Kyorin Uinv.He is a real Tolkienian!
(But all the problems about sindarin in this video is mine.I was poor pupil)
I think the best tutorial is appendix of LotR by J.R.R.Tolkien himself.Tolkien also recorded his works in Edhellen.
And it seems A Gateway To Sindarin byDavid Salo is approved around here.
