If you know anything about cows you know that was a warning from the cow for this girl to get away. The quick lunge with her neck and head indicate this. If the cow was just curious she would have walked up and put her nose over the fence.
I work with cows and their temperment can be good 1 min and bad the next. I think its just curious at the 2 legged biped near it and wanted a closer look.
@wonniewarrior I dunno much about bad temperament unless they feel their calf is at risk..Cows can very well be the most gentle of all big mammals.Once a big Jersey cow was standing lazily chewing cud on a narrow road I was to take, occupying much width of the road.I nervously tried to make a run through the few meters open, my shirt got stuck in the barbed wire & I fell right next to the cow..And it stood just there,chewing,looking at me,& it was like "Stupid,crazy humans...."LOL...I love cows.
