@MrFilipinjo He picks the strings behind the neck, which makes that sound. its purely based on what your tone is at the time, and which strings you hit, because when I do it (When covering Time is Running Out) Sometimes I get the low end. I'd like to know how to consistently get that sound...

@MrFilipinjo its mostly because its a fuzz factory thats doing the distorting. a completely different way of overdrive/fuzz rather than a regular metal or distortion.

@kieranfieldoufc The whammy pad thing is termed a Kaoss Pad. He uses it to control a Digitech Whammy 4 sometimes. Usually Matt uses the touch pad to do some fills with sci-fi synth sounds.

If you get many views and high ratings, then your video will go up so that more people can watch it :D
