Excellent vids, very thorough and well made. Thanks AirCrashHD for uploading these! You got enough flak over the omission of part 3 so I won't go there.
One thing this report doesn't mention is the effect of the airport structures which the aircraft hit after it ran off the runway. The construction of these was partly responsible for the damage and deaths. Such structures are supposed to break away in a collision, but these were built atop an unstable riverbank and were thus strongly anchored, so they ripped the plane apart on impact. They were found to be in violation of airport safety standards.
But forgetting to arm the spoilers is a serious issue. They focused on brakes instead. Did they energise the inverter at the engines? The inverter moves the air front do it helps the plane to stop.
@hrbear They did engage the thrust reversers. In fact, the captain apparently applied too much reverse thrust, going over the limits specified in the flight manual. That caused him to lose directional control, so it actually made matters worse.
Law of Context - people more likely to behave irresponsibly if they believe others are doing it. Night + running late + other pilots landing= disaster.

@colindhowell If the storm occurs in that city periodically then it is a huge issue.
