Anyone that knows Greek mythology would know that Theseus IS a demigod...what Cavill should have said is that in this film, it's a different interpretation from the traditional telling of the story in that he isn't a demigod, but a mere mortal. The interviewer shouldn't have backed down. As for him being Superman, I just hope he can pull off a very convincing American accent, and they do camera tricks to make up for the 3" he's lacking. Superman has to have a presence. Big diff from 6'1" & 6'4"
