The American Akita is not to be confused with the Akita Inu (Japanese Akita) because they are now considered to be different breeds by the FCI. Although in the United States and Canada, both are considered to be a single breed and is differentiated only by type. One of the main difference between the two breeds is that with the American Akita, a black mask is allowed which is simply a no-no to the Japanese one. MABEY U SHOULD READ MORE ABOUT THEM
U need to get ur facts right before u post a video about akita breed ....these are American akitas not Japanese which ur video makes out they are two different breeds and the Japanese people wouldn't class this as Japanese dog so it was changed to American !
@lilmsgreenleaf LMAO hmm maybe you shouldn't post a comment when you know nothing, you really need research the Akita and kennel clubs around the world, you obviously know nothing the 'american' akita isn't a breed at all just a name given to them and this video is about the 'akita' not japanese akita inu ! ohh some people make me laugh
@scraderz20 Actually the American Akita and the Akita Inu have been separate breeds since 1999, as established by Japanese kennels and multiple European Kennels...
Only the American, Canadian and Australian kennels see them as one breed.
