I honestly respect and admire Ron Paul and even considered voting for him, but the more I read the less I liked. Libertarianism is built on the false premise that free markets can do good works. The only thing free markets can do is make good profits. Sometimes that is what is needed, but for other things (e.g., NIH, NASA, FDA, EPA, etc.) only regulation and planning works.
