Comment on possible extension of unemployment benefits

Extended benefits for the unemployed is a lie, A cutoff for all Fed-Ed ends on Dec 31, 09. Anyone whos claim (regular or extension) ends after that is SOL. There is no follow on extension as of yet. Forget HEALTHCARE. Jobs and Unemployment should be the first priority.

People will not be spending money on food,clothes,utilities,gas,ent­ertainment or anything else. When this happens it will spiral out of control.When you have nearly 2o% of the people in this nation unemployed it will have horrible results.The reason I say 20% unemployment is because the selfemployed people, bus. owners who have bankrupted already, people working under the table, and people wo have already exhausted their benefits are not being counted.They really do need to extend the benefits.

You should research sir. The unemployment extension WILL HELP THE ECONOMY, according to economists. Do the research before you post please. Also, Obama isn't for the extension this time, so far he hasn't done anything at all to back it.  Daily more people who've worked their entire lives hit the streets because they are unable to pay for shelter any longer. Benefits are running out, and have run out for many already, and there still aren't any jobs. How does that help the economy? It doesn't.
