the previous owners must of been collector cuz that jfk pic in the dresser looked like a Norman Rockwell painting if that is an original it is worth over 2500 dollars not joking.but i couldnt tell, camera moved to fast..,nice vid like the old papers,is there any more old stuff down there??
Yeah, this is my grandmothers house that i live at. She's still here, and that is some stuff she's collected over the years. That was a magazine about jfk from soon after he died i think, and the front cover might be a picture of a norman rockwell painting. There's a decent amount of old stuff down there, mostly just interesting stuff, probably nothing of real value. But its alot of fun looking around down there.
yeah man, its a shame. I'm no better though, i don't take advantage of all the opportunity we get in this country... I'd say i'm part of the problem for sure. I wish i was out there doing something awesome with my life.
Its a shame man... Alot of it has to do with the economy now... people are really worried about just getting by, instead of coming up with new things. Fucking sucks that all those people had to buy all those huge, horribly cheaply made houses... A 2 year old could tell that they were too much money, not worth it, and they couldn't really afford it in the long run. And of course that they didn't need them... When reality hit, everything went to shit.
hell yeah fuck facebook: let me show you how great my life is, but what you dont know is my boyfriend beats me, i crashed my car, and have no job, but its all good because you will never find out. also im diging these basement series!
hahah, ah god... Yep. My friend saw that movie and told me about it, but said it was scary in a way, because it really seems possible that things could actually go that way. and its true...
@tommartyn A baseball player. I only know that cause 1 of my favorite old school comedy teams(abbott and costello) had a bit called "Who's on first" and they mention dizzy dean
haha, ah, gotcha. i know about the old bit, but i don't know if i ever actually heard the whole thing. i think i mainly heard it referred to and parodied.
me and mike ingested a massive amount of 151 last night, then he tried to take his s10 blazer across the new area and got high centered. He had to sleep the night in the freezing ass canopy... I set him up a bed and got him a blanket, and there is a wood stove in there now, but man... that had to be cold when the wood burnt down
Me too, i should ask my grandmother if they were actually my from someone in my family at some point, of if they just found them, or bought them somewhere. Cause they weren't alive when those things were made.
lol im listing old records from the 50s on ebay while listening to you sort through old junk.

I'd have that laminated. Oldest paper I ever had was printed december 1955. Had a article talking about dizzy dean announcing his retirement.
