  • Sharp and good form but I agree with WestBfella. This is more rock than water if you translate to elements.

  • Although there is nothing wrong with the moves per say, I beleive Asai Shihan invented these katas to create fluidity of movement and to expand the technical range of the karate-ka. This performance has 'Shotokanized' the Junro kata and created a robotic version of the movements; missing the point of the kata. If you approach it this way you are limited in your progression and you should instead seek to create a flowing kata.
