  • i bought this cd waiting for it cant wait!!!!

  • What's up with people liking 20/20's little yellow pills? I mean, they really like it.

  • wow, this is way cool I had the record and in moves in my life I lost this, and you can't find this anywhere, kinda like 2020 little yellow pills, thanks for posting it brings me back to my teenage years!

  • I totally forgot about this band. First heard them at 14 and loved them thru first half of the 80's. They came to town (Seattle) pretty often, I guess up and down the west coast tours and we'd be sooo excited when an X concert was coming. Exene Cervenka was my heroine.

  • I don't care, what video brought people here.

My dad brought me to this shit, before youtube ever existed.

Suck it kids who don't have dads that listen to punk.

  • niiiice

  • Because of them that X JAPAN as a "JAPAN" after xD

    They are relly good !

  • I played a gig at a little shop in a leave it to beaver neighborhood in LA, Exene was watching and told me i had a great voice. I didn't know who she was. But now after researching the band x, and listening to the early material, I'm honored. I can't believe i never got into these guys before. this song is rad.

  • The Germs brought meh here.

  • @SqualoSurf20 that's not true you don't know what you're talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @SqualoSurf20 A band doesn't need corporate backing or conformity to achieve significant mainstream success. Nonetheless, many of the greatest "punk" bands of all time were on major labels including Ramones, Stooges, Sex Pistols, The Clash, MC5, Dickies, just to name a few.

  • @SqualoSurf20 who says? lol at "the whole point of punk" as if it's a monolithic blob of sameness

  • i only know this song from a video game

  • I had to leave ... LOS ANGELES!

  • and fuck people who only know the song from video games. eat a dick

  • @leatherneck0005 Tony Hawk's FTW!

  • @leatherneck0005 some people can only learn songs from games and movies, thats why artist put there songs in them so people that have not heard them can hear them and buy there music.

  • @leatherneck0005 lolololoolooll loser

  • @MrDanielSonSon shit my bad man, you're into Portal and Skyrim and all that so you must be like THE coolest dude at Dragon Con.

i do feel like a loser having never beaten a video game in my life. is that as fulfilling as i'm imagining?

  • @leatherneck0005 lolololololololololl loser. c:

  • @leatherneck0005 my mom told me about this band because she worked in a record store in the 80's, she said this band was pretty popular at the time

  • @Scone54 yep. your mom has good taste

  • fuck all these racist people leaving comments. exene and jon hate you

  • Makes me want to rebel against liberal tolerance.

    Mexicans, homosexuals, etc....

  • Ive heard at the first time at Pearl Jam show in Sao Paulo, 11/03/2011. AMAZING!

  • @pilovasques that's why i'm listening now. seeing them again next year! looking forward to these too.

  • @seymonster

    Well, I endorse it....segregation rules !

  • I agree this song is more like telling a sory...but I'm seeing some racist comments and ur not a true punk if ur racis my opinion just sayin...now fuckin persecute for it

  • @antigua26 Well I thought punk was just suposed to be about ANARCHY and nonconformity, .. . yet here we have dumbfucks like this guy telling us all how to be a "true punk"! And no, I don't really give a shit if somebody els is "racist" or whatever, . .. people can think whatever the fuck they want for my part !

  • GUITAR HERO o/

  • I only know this song through Tony Hawk Underground 2

  • i didnt realize until yesturday that this looks like a cross on its side. and the fire looks like a ghost with a mallet and the devil sign aha..

  • @PsycoSibling22 it actually looks like a kukluxklan cross going down, it makes sense

  • @SebastianSolis138 Oh well, we have to pute up with all your "whitey this .. whitey that" in your rap "music", Def Comedy Jam, and Malcom X shit, don't we ?

  • @spyroxxm ehm...what? I don't know what you are trying to say

  • @PsycoSibling22 or it could be the letter "X" whoah wouldnt that be a coincidence..

  • get over yourselves... this song just rocks

  • I think this concerns an early Masque scenester,Farrah Fawcett Minor. There were a lot of bright Jewish girls attracted to early punk. She wore swastikas and would reduce them to tears with verbal assaults.

  • All races are racist . . and so as the song goes . . GET OUT!

  • @seymonster get over yourself. this is ace

  • Comment removed

  • @spyroxxm Wow! Im not black, im Irish and Mexican, but hey good effort in trying

  • @Colossus3999 wtf irish and mexican thats a slighty odd mix

  • @seymonster

you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, but that's ok.

  • Comment removed

  • @seymonster uhm, no. This song is about my aunt, Fay Hart. Yes, she is real. No, she is not racist.

  • @seymonster i dont get it

  • Pumps me up.

  • @seymonster I read in an old LA Weekly interview that this song is based on a real person. I don't recall her name but i believe Exene said it was a woman who later married Steve Nieve (of Elvis Costello & the Attractions). I agree that it is not an endorsement of this person's racism.

  • Get ouuuuuutt

  • This song is about my Aunt Fay.

John & Excene are my godparents. (:

  • @shelbythegleek are they racist?

  • Saw them in 80 - met exene - jon etc.. I AM PROUD:)

  • who are the 2 dumbass who disliked?

  • this song makes me wanna gtl. gym, tattoos, and liquor

  • this reminds me of my childhood as a gamer.

  • i literally just got home from a sewing circle with Exene. ya, shes awesome!!!! and of all things, a sewing circle...

  • I saw them in San Diego a few weeks ago and they were great. An acquaintance of mine was talking trash and discredited their work and history only because of their age. I was glad to be seeing this pivotal band for the first time and she was like, "Exene is so long in the tooth and they're marginal anyway...."

Bitch you crazy. They paved the way for L.A. punk.

  • this song is awesome, great lp 1980,i love this band california punk,i love this lp

  • the shield

  • so skateboardy... ahh.. 5th grade..

  • Sorry Dana, that reply was for 124punkrock...

  • Dana, You're a fucking idiot. Ray Manzarek did not start X. He eventually produced some of their music, and later backed them on stage... But was never an integral part of the band, and by no means started X. Figure it out.

  • She gets confused flying over the dateline.... I love this song

  • they played this song in the last episode of the shield, and i have never heard a more appropriate use of the song

  • @JanesInChains1990 My exact thoughts when I heard this song in that. Just 100% fitting

  • Kikes, niggers, and drug addicts make me want to leave Los Angeles.

  • @XxBowieTipxX u mad racist for that.

  • @macDaddyJazz Negro is Spanish for black.

  • the doors live on throug X

  • @couchwanker the doors would live on even if X never existed

  • @jcmcdguitar you think?

  • @couchwanker the doors have nothing incommon with X they were both pretty good bands but still

  • @124punkrock The Doors & X had Ray Manzarek in common

  • @124punkrock wtf? Who do think statred X? The keyboard player from The Doors!

  • @DanaVanHeerden i dont know much about the band

  • thug2 yeah!!!

  • dang,i freakin love punk!

  • What the hell??? Every nigger, Jew, homosexual, and Mexican? Wtf is this song about?

  • THis song was about a member who was racist, that they kicked out.

  • @kingxskippy umm im not sure about that but maybe im wrong

  • The sleeve cover inside the album might make you vomit.

  • @walshseant why's that? I may seem like a musical tool, but I'm curious all the same.

  • Stupid kids thinking racists shiz they are and were real punk rock

  • thug2 for lifeee!!!!

  • i found thisalbum in my friends closet, wanna the best cds ever

  • if you don't like the lyrics then go back to listening to your justin beiber shit.

  • TONY HAWK!!

  • This song is about a bigot they knew.

  • THUG 2 is that shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they're actually talking shit on her...

  • howlingmongoose, Mexicans and Jews are an ethnicity, not racial slurs; and homosexual - a sexual preference. However, the term "nigger" is ignorant and racist, but the band X were/are not racists, as kingxskippy pointed out. They are telling a story about a person they knew; albeit, they tell it in a very blatant way.

  • Were they Racist?

Don't really like the lyrics lol.

  • @kingxskippy No they were not. The song is written about a person they once knew who was horribly racist. She was hated by the band members and they were glad when she left.

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE bands with both female and male vocalists. The harmonies are always really interesting to listen to.

  • without the slurs the song would be half of what it is. they're taking a sarcastic approach at defending minorities and other groups that are discriminated against.

  • @nateitalianstallion No, they aren't doing THAT either dumbfuck! They're just singing about a character, .. thats all! They aren't preaching politics or any of that shit, .. they're just telling it like it is.

  • it was cool when they used this song in the shield series finale opening

  • She hated every nigger and jew! Wow she's pretty racist

  • hahahahaha wait whats THUG2? i heard this from Tony Hawk Underground! fuck yeah.

  • @ZakuroOkashi Tony Hawk Under Ground = THUG

  • 2pac is way better

man soulja boy makes more sence then this 30 thousand million 100

  • @Gamer20981 haha what the fuck did you just say?

  • @zosothedestroyer wakkka flakkka flammme is better hahaha lol

no bs bs i love this song

  • tyvm. This takes me back, oh 27 years or so.When there was not such a thing as autotune, and we had great bands that could just show up and set up and play.

And this takes me back to that time, from the first note. Cheers

  • i never really considered X a hardcore punk band. I just always thought they wrote really great songs

  • THUG2 introduced me to this and many other GREAT songs... thumbs up if THUG2 is why you looked his up! ♥

  • fuck yea none dislikes...but if them dislike they got to GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT GET OUUUUTTTTT.

  • howlingmongrel doesnt know X

  • i think this video deserves a sub.

  • Ray Manzarek of The Doors produced this? That's pretty far out.

  • @Bromleyboy73 what ?

    woah really

  • @Bromleyboy73 really ? wow that cool

  • I live in Los Angeles, im not getting out! I dont care how many niggers and jews there are or the mexicans that give me shit and the homosexuals and the idle rich! P.S I love everyone :)

  • @Colossus3999 You rule for your opinion! I am EternityLA, huh?

  • i wonder why they used nigger and jew in the song

  • @howlingmongoose Because there's plenty of them in Los Angeles.

  • @ThePetepiper lol wow

  • @howlingmongoose

    because it kicks ass

  • @AllRiseForDrEvil how about my nigger and jew friends kicky our ass? would that be awesome?

  • @howlingmongoose

Why would your friends kick your ass? I would be more than happy if they only kicked my ass.

  • @AllRiseForDrEvil typo bitch i meant your racist ass

  • @howlingmongoose

Racist? And why is that? Because I think the song kicks ass? Have you even listened to the lyrics? Do you even know what the song is about? Ignorant idiot.

  • @AllRiseForDrEvil WHAT ARE YOU 15? IS THAT YOUR BAND? THE IGNORANT IDIOTS?

  • @howlingmongoose

If you can't handle a song because of the lyrics without actually knowing what the hell it's all about, what are you even doing here?

  • @howlingmongoose shut up just be quiet seriously fuck off

  • @howlingmongoose I am guessing they used nigger and jew because they are punk band and they don't reall give a shit and it fits good in the song so why not. but my question is are you really asking that I mean it doesnt seem like a very smart question and on top of that if you're here defending against racism why didnt you bother pointing out that they also said Mexican and this is a different category but they also mentioned homosexuals.

and P.S. there is alot of racial variety in CA

  • I have the original vinyl, I grew up on this shit!

  • The famale background vocal remember the cool B-52's of the old times,1978-1989.

  • i love X!! this song never gets old!

  • i love this song so much, fuck the stupid Serious XM for getting rid of thier punk station!!!!

  • @LuckyPinkElephants

    Blame AOL and Time Warner.

  • @LuckyPinkElephants And changing it to a 24hr AC/DC channel. Fuck AC DC. At least Sirius coulda been a little more creative in a replacement channel when deciding to get rid of a genre of music. I got rid of Sirius after that, well that and satellite radio isn't punk rock...

  • @LuckyPinkElephants It's why I got rid of XM

  • @LuckyPinkElephants Go Sirius

  • @LuckyPinkElephants

I never understood why the fuck they didn't have one. It hurts even more to know they once did and got rid of it. Fuck.

  • what tony hawks game was this from? THUG 2???
