I'm a big Annihilator fan, i love his playing an i love his guitars...but i think that this presentation of his guitar is not well presented, because he is pluged in his all studio and probably some stage equipment, so that it doesn't show you enough from the true sound of just the guitar! Any guitar can sound good to us on any of the equipment that the metal guitarists have! Why don't they just plug the guitars directly to their amps, so that we (the mortal ones) can hear just the guitar?!

@asianaxeman Well, the thing is that, on a bad/cheap guitar you need tons of distortion to produce a pinch harmonic, and he doesn't have that. And he plays in standard tuning i think, wich make it harder in generall to produce a harmonic.

And that guitar aint cheap, it cost like 2000$ or something nearby.

And when you hit certain notes it automatically transforms into a harmonic after a few seconds, my guitar does that aswell.

@sebbislar nothing to do with the guitar, if u have enough distortion u can get harmonics out of a telecaster with single coils! I find that higher the tuning and higher the string tensoin the easier to get harmonics, so not sure what u mean it's harder to get harmonics in E standard, lots of variables influence it like string gauge

@asianaxeman Try tuning down, and you'll se that the harmonics get more audible, that's why Mick Thompson's pinch harmonics sound so loud.

@asianaxeman actually down tuning is a hell lot more audible and clearer....try drop tuning to at LEAST B.... and uhhh single coil doesnt really matter...i use my cheap ass yamaha strato style piece of shit and i can make great harmonics.... with drop tuning :P normal tuning u need better pick ups actually....really hard to make it nice and clear...only pros like uhh...bon jovi? hes a great pinch user, same for jeff. ._. im a slipknot, annihilator and justin bieber fan...lol jk abt bieber..gay..
