Those are the top ten BEST TV personalities from the 60's!
Some of the worst were Hazel, That Girl, My Mother the Car (Jerry Van Dyke), Laura Petrie ("Oh Robb!"), that dumb guy from Land of the Giants, H R Hump-n-puffin-stuff, Mary Hartman, Dark Shadows, and the ultimate worst were the soap operas my older sister watched!
Hi Paul, I'd like to add a write in vote to this and suggest Eddie Haskell from Leave it to Beaver. He used to drive me nuts because there were actually guys around who were just like him (:->
Thanks for the kind words and comments, John. A couple of other people used to mention the whole disc jockey thing. Actually, I was a disc jockey at a college radio station for a few years way back when in school. Thanks again!
Gomer is not annoying! He's lovely. just a bit of a social kluts...
the entire brady bunch family is annoying.
and Gilligan is pretty irritating to watch as well.

For the 1960s, I would have to say Gomer Pyle. Second, I'd say Barney Fife.
Later characters, Kramer, who with his shrill insistence of entitlement, if that makes any sense.
And in the cartoon/sitcom realm, Peter Griffin, who caused the death of several animals, lastly being Quagmire's poor cat. Ha ha. NOT!
Lastly, Dale Gribble, then Bobby Hill.

Kramer on Seinfeld was very annoying, but sometimes George topped him. I used to like the show until the writers killed off his fiancee.
