nice shot...it's high time tht IR shld check & get all it's passenger train to have 51kmph as the benchmark for avg speed...in today's world we still hv trains wherein ppl spend almost 2 to 3 days of der life travelling from 1 point 2 another...kuch toh karna chahiye petu mantri log ko

@Scrapandjunk Actually this train is meant for passengers travelling short distances.... For example, in our compartment, none was travelling till the final point.. Even we travelled till Amritsar, and the whole compartment got empty at Pathankot and Amritsar, only for new passengers to board again.. Even no TTE came for checking the tickets, and I guess most of the people was travelling with unreserved tickets. For point-to-point travelling, there are better trains.

@Scrapandjunk Just for the passengers willing to do overnight journey... For example, between Amritsar and Aligarh. Or between Jalandhar and Firozabad, etc... Even we paid the fare for sleeper berths, though we started at 14:30 from Jammu, and reached Amritsar bang on time at 19:10 the same day...
