  • lowlarun, This is excellent! What group made this? If you are part of it, make more! Make more!

  • The marijuana was the only real pharmacologically active treatment in the video....

  • The idoits that their know everything...

  • @BlueMush ...sang bluefish oin the moon!

  • Out of breath from laughing. So on target. Pure comedic genius! Thanks for posting!

  • Cute, but the title is misleading. "Alternative Medicine" ≠ "Homeopathy"

I think the main reason homeopathy has managed to stick around is that a lot of people confuse "homeopathy" with "home remedies."

  • Homeopathic pills containing naturally occurring metals such as gold, copper and iron retain their potency even when diluted to a nanometre or one-billionth of a metre, states the IIT-Bombay research published in the latest issue of 'Homeopathy', a peer-reviewed journal from reputed medical publishing firm Elsevier.

  • @jamesbondking A homeopathic journal.

  • *and meta-analyses if these trials.

  • @newrosenewman Actually, that proves nothing. In order to work out if homeopathy or any medication works, we do medical trials. Homeopathy, if brought to market like any other drug, wouldn't get past the first stage. It also fails in medical trials and

  • More homeopathetic satire please - I love it!!

  • As a wise poet/singer-songwriter once sang: Don't criticize what you can't understand.

  • @MaypoWable Song lyrics are not a valid argument. This is called the Appeal to Authority Fallacy.

  • I like natural things...that's why I stick to heroin..lol

  • Homeopathy is such crap.

  • I get that this is making fun of the off the deep end people, but 90% of this has nothing to do with modern homeopathy.

  • Insofar as homeopathy is unadulterated bullshit, it has everything to do with homeopathy.

  • this is one of the funniest things I have seen on YouTube. It not only takes a whack at alternative medicine but it also an excellent parody or the show er itself. If your only criticism of it is that the title seems inappropriate, you have more problems than you will likely ever understand.

  • It does take a whack at some alternative medicine as well as ER, that's pretty obvious, but I don't think parody is inherently funny. To me this was like saying a racist joke getting the race wrong; it's just kind of dumb to me, personally.

  • I am a huge fan too !

Could anybody tell me if hospital staff did the writing and actinf on their spare time ???? Or it went on TV ???

    Love it !

  • You can cure a headache by hitting your head with an infinitesimally-small hammer.

  • I resent you dragging medical marijuana down to the same level as homeopathy.

  • It was pretty clever except none of the treatments have anything to do with homeopathy. They are joking about herbal medicine, yoga, chakra therapies, etc. They obviously don't know what homeopathy is.

  • True, however homeopathy is an even bigger joke. At least with herbs you have some potential mechanism for it working.

  • To be fair, a lot of people who use homeopathy don't know what it is either. If they realised how retarded the ideas behind it were, I am sure many would stop using it immediately and feel quite embarrassed about the whole thing.

  • They made fun of it with one line:

    "I CARE about patients!"

    "Then give them some water."

But yes. Other than that, you're right.

  • silly

  • lol

    homeopaths are retarded

  • Lighten up, man.

  • It's actually all about Homeopathy. As a "medical science", or a "philosophical worldview", Homeopathy is completely irrational and unreasonable -- and this video satirizes precisely that!

  • "Case Histories": aka anecdotal evidence: aka cherry picked stories that fit with the story teller's fantasy.

  • To what exactly would you like referred?

The philosophy of pretending that a debunked 300yo theory is cutting-edge medicine?

The science of calling your product medicine, but throwing a fit when it's held to the same standard as all other medicines?

Most importantly, I'd guess, is the art of sell expensive "magic" water to a gullible public unaware of how science and medicine actually work. I don't respect emotionally-manipulative salesmanship, but I can certainly admire its twisted genius.

  • @dysjunct Let us be practical than fighting each other. If any body wants to find the effectivenes of Homeopathy he may do the following experiment .Take a dose of 4-6 globules of NUX VOMICA 30 four times a day for 14 days.Once you develop any signs/symptoms, administration of drug is to stop immediately. The symtoms will disappear its own with in period of 7 days . During the course of proving, use of any other medications or stimulants is restricted.

  • "Homeopathy for the ignorant"

Who else would homeopathy be for?
