But they're service on short haul is really good though.

@darwincity Thats Not True !! i went on Austrian Airlines in 2005 !!! and they had ptvs it was From Vienna To Kuala Lumpur and then Kuala lumpur to Sydney.. it was as well on a 777-200ER and cant find a reason why a year later would austrian get rid of Their ptvs.?

Love you background music..(Bedrock's Beautiful Strange) I have thinking about taking this line but I only read bad reviews about the economy seating and pitching. Not enough leg room and hard seats. Still it's the most cheap option for me from CPH. Even Aeroflot is more expensive! PS - Hope you had a great trip!

@maxbravo This does seem odd that the Austrians are all at the back near the toilets and will be served meals after the Thai people. Moreover, the seats at the back are narrower too. Very unfair on the Austrians!

Its an A340 Airbus, Austrian did also use a 767 on this route, but now they only use a 777-200er...i should know i work for them

I flew in an Austrian 777-200 form SYD-KUL KUL-VIE and the same back. THe interior is very stylish and very bright, a real eye-opener after boarding the aurcraft again after your small stop over in KL. This airline is awesome, i love practicing my german when i fly with them! Awesome vid!!

I flew BKK - OSLO via Vienna with Austrian. I loved it! Inflight entertainment system, great cabin crew, who even knew Norwegian, and the special touch on service.. one of the girls even gave me a blow up plane! It was a bit unexpected that they charged money for the food on A. Arrows(wich they changed later to free food!), but it was nice too anyway!

dude, a 767 cannot do a bangkok-vienna, AND if you look in economy class the seating is 2-4-2 and in the 767 its 2-3-2!

If you read the posts exactly, you'll see, that I corrected my first post and wrote A330 or A340. By the way, 767 can do Vienna - Bangkok. Austrian also used 767 for this route.
