March of 2012 will be my 4th year in a row going to vegas, I alway's win the last 2 or 3 day's there, Thing is people usually go for a couple of day's and don't stay there long enough to get their money back. We alway's stay for 5 day's, people hardly never use their comps we are staying for $87.50 total for 5 day's at circus circus. People go play at mgm grand and the other big casinos those places don't pay as often. Can't wait to go in march.
It looks to me like you got jipped on the 2nd video. You have 2 red 7's and a triple. You bet 3 coins. That should be a win of 450 x 3 = $1,350. BUT, that's in credits, and the payouts are listed in credits, and you are on a $2 machine. A win of 1350 credits becomes $2,700. So you should have been hand paid $2,700 to my eye. Is there something I am not seeing? Anyone?
I love The Mirage. We did pretty well there as well. We didn/t quite get the big win, but enough to play for days, rack up points on our M life card and pay for all our room service and our massages.
it's always fun to win but i still have fun if i lose too. Vegas is awsome so if people like me want to go and have a great time and maybe lose some money in the process who are you to judge. I say if you can afford to do it then why not and if you are struggling to get by then maybe its not a good hobby for you!!!! GOOD LUCK TO MY FELLOW VEGAS LOVERS!!!!!!!!!
Best places to go where slots hit the most is off the Strip where the competition is fierce. South Point Casino where I stayed last time the slots there hit frequently while the ones on the Strip at the Mirage dont hit.
Is it just me, or on the 5 dollar Double Gold, you hit 3 red sevens with a double? According to the pay table, depending on how many coins you bet you should have won either double 200, 400, or 600 which adds up to 400, 800 or 1200 credits, multiplied by a 5 dollar machine, should have been 2000$ or 4000$ or 6000$, so why the 1200$ hand pay on the display?? Can someone explain? Or is it just a Mirage... :)
@909603141 On the $5 machines the 600 is displayed in dollars not the number of coins. So 3 7's on a 3 coin bet would have paid $600 not 600 coins. Therefore they had 7 Double, 7 and 7 all red so $600 dollars X 2 = $1,200. Just another way to screw you over. If it was the number of coins on the display then you numbers would have been right!
I would love to see those machines, just to trip out and see if anyone plays them. I would rather myself stick to the quaters or dollars, even nickles lol.
That what Charles Barkley was playing when he lost 1.2 million in one weekend. Wynn and Caesars has them. Sir Charles hit one for 700k the following weekend, so all was not lost.
@ChicanoTattooArt I did hear of a 5,000 slot, ala charles barkely story about how he lost a million then won back 700,000 his last day in vegas i think.. unreal isnt it
Nearly everyone has them in Vegas, Caesars has one in AC. They are conventional slots, typically red-white-blue or double diamond. Any three sevens = $80k!
@TheKingofSlots I dont usually like slot machines but I played off the strip at a place called the orleans, they acually pay up, especially the penny ones! lol.. the ones on the strip dont even give a penny back
Of course, you tip the attendant but not the host, who isnt allowed to accept them. But its like any other business; if you get good service, you tip. In this case I would slip the attendant a 20.
I wonder how long ago this was. Vegas machines are tighter than a clam's ass any more. I live here and it's almost impossible to win. They are making the machines tighter to make up for lost revenue because of the economy.
Ur damn right it's hard to hit a jackpot like this, especially in Vegas..why..bcuz most people who go there only stay 2 or 3 days at the most, so they're not coming back until who knows! So they don't have to pay like casinos that depend on locals every week for action, & if those casinos didn't pay people would stop going.. so don't go to Vegas to play slots unless u just want to throw money down a drain, u hav to be damn lucky to hit a jackpot there!
i did hit & triple-Lucky 2$ mach for $2700, 2 trpls & a red 7 on 2 coins, took less than $100 to hit it.. tried the same machine 2 wks later & lost 1/2 of my winnings on the same machine! Found out later that a girl had hit the jackpot on it 45 mins b4 i got there..u never know when or how much a slot has paid out b4 u get there, that's why u should never put into a machine more than u can win playing others 1st, it's easier to win 100/200 on another mach than trying to win back 500 or more..
I've been to Vegas three times and all the taxi dudes tell me that locals never play. The same is true for all the Native casinos I've been to in Canada and the US. Still it's fun....last time in Vegas my wife was hot and we were several hundred up.
@canadaguy2112ca Dont believe all that you hear friend, locals do play in vegas in the dowtown part, the strip is a big rip off and machines are tighest in the country from our experience. Me and several family members lost 800 each on the strip and never won over 100, we go downtown to golden nugget and some others and woolaa hit after hit and normal acting machine. And like with any casino they can have tight times also but they were nothing like the vegas strip,we lived and learned :) gl
@ANICON2006 On the strip i would agree with everything your saying but downtown is much diff and after all the years driving semi and playing in diff states ive noticed downtown vegas that also caters to the locals is good as anywhere in the country, its all about when at any of them, if its a take day or time when you start playing then look out but killing time can change everything if you have patience. We are at their mercy and what days and times we decide to play :) gl
in 2005 I went with 5k and came home with $56,700. My biggest hits came at MGM Grand, not the downtown houses. MGM has the best high-roller pit on the Strip, IMHO. Not bad for 3 days work.
Noticed the same problem in Connecticut. Legally the house is not allowed to fool with the paybacks, they can lose their gaming license if caught. But Indian gaming is tribal regulated, so who would know? Indian gaming is already tight at 91-92% payback typically.
Wow now that is awesome!!! I love it when it people win.....I love it even more when I win....which lately hasnt been that much LOL....oh well....great job!!!

i hit a $5 wheel of fortune and won $1195 no tax .....
but then i palyed casino war at the mirage bet $1000 on a single hand won that hand
no taxes there
then i took my winnings to pahrump, nevada and got laid and bought some illegal fireworks
