  • Have to admit when I went on this I wasn't impressed really. The 'scene' itself was pretty cool, but my dad liked the film and was really disappointed with it. Ah well, you can't please everyone I guess!

  • I've been there. I'm Malaysian and they use only French so I was a little lost.

  • Oh blimey! I remember MY experience in there. At first, I was just deliberately acting casually and getting into character.

Then, as soon as I felt the warmth of the pyrotechnics, I immediately started treating the scene as if it was real. I curled myself into a ball on the deck. I was worried that I could have caught fire!

  • Of all the things in Paris, they put American Astronauts in a movie called Armageddon instead of putting at a WD in America. It seems kind of strange to me, and they put the worst part in my opinion of the movie in with the Russian Space Station.

  • et je suis aller la dedans! sans déc'? XD

  • Basically they tell you your gonna be an extra in the movie armageddon and your going to go "look scared". you get into the "shuttle" and you see screens that make t look like meteors are falling towards you, as they fall on "your ship" it causes fires and explosions and the ground beneath you shakes violently everytime you get hit, its just good fun, role playing almost

  • il y a des morceaux de soundtrack du lunch du rock'n'roller coaster !

    je l'ai entendu ! 1:54

  • Armageddon? more like Backdraft. :(

  • it was good enouf i thoutthe fire was on top of me i was rite b side it

  • Looks pretty cool, even though most of it is in French!

  • @namsivad They do sometimes have an english person speaking in the intro...

  • lol i remember going on this ride when i was like 8! lol i was sooooo fuckin scared, they told the children to stand on top of a fuckin massive smoke machine!!!!!!! i couldnt see nuthin but smoke and fire!!!! i went on it again when i was 10 and realised it is a fuckin amazing ride and luv it!!!! especially the last past where theres the massive explosion in the middle of the room!!! lol :D nice job disney!!!! :D

  • Lol, I went on that and my Mum filmed it but one of the ladies working there told her to turn it off :( I was shaking cuz I didn't know WAT THE HELL was gunna happen.

  • What is the basis of this attraction and what themed land is it in?

  • It's based on the film Armageddon.

And it's in Disney Studios in Backlot.

    Hope that helped!

I love this attarction so much, it gets the adrenaline going!

  • it is in disnyland paris/

  • studios pak

  • i was on that ride this weekend, ik went in there for 3 times in an half hour lol, it is such a fucking great ride really the first time i was damn scared lol i thould whe were gonna get sucked out and burned alive lol

When you are is disney land paris movie park THIS IS A MUST DO !!

    greetzz

  • It's something you have to go on to experience. The whole point is that it is rather forceful on your senses and if you saw the amount of detail that is behind the scenes you might appreciate it more. The Armageddon attraction was effectively a prototype to see if the concept would work.

  • the bit at 4:33 is the scariest bit to me lol!i thought we were going to get sucked out AND killed!

  • I went on this ride.. I thought it was great,

I really want to go back to Disneyland Paris!

The rides there are really cool. x

  • That is a freaky ride. I only go to the Disney parks in Florida. They should make this there.

  • La fille joue comme un pied

  • I went on this too. It was fun, but not overwhelming. For an adult... My nephew of 6 and niece of 8 were crying afterwards :)

  • i dont know what was so scary (accept for the fireball...)

  • The show simulates a spacestation that gets explosive decompression

  • OMG I WENT ON THAT.

    Lmao.

  • so it ends with the lights going out and everything's okay? weird. Effects are neat.. but I don't think it would be something I'd go see.

  • like the other disney rides

its all hype and no action

  • um ok this is like incounter at disney...but wut was this about...an experiment gone wrong??

  • You are on a Russian space station as a giant asteroid heads for earth. As it passes you it destroys the space station and you along with it. Have a magical day!

  • ROFL!!!

  • ok...what just happened? o.o

  • Armageddon ain't so great either.

  • havn't been on it cos its broken

might go on it next year

  • so is this like the twister ride at universal?

  • Yes. It's the same idea.

  • Except you know... twister SUCKS and all....

  • @andromedaleigh thats what i thought

  • The vacuum bit is pretty cool.

  • ...Why does everyone hate this ride? <=( Ok, the pre-show sucks monkey balls, but hey! The main bit is so awesome! I mean..the vacuum sucking door is the best bit and..eeee! It's so loud and cool, this ride just gives me freaking goosebumps! Give it a rest, will ya?

....Btw, am I the only one that likes this ride? >_>

  • I love it :)

  • Its not too bad to go on ONCE. The point is that its supposed to be a special effects stage, so as well as the fireball, the ceiling drops, pipes explode, the walls cave in as asteroids hit them (the walls dent as you see asteroids through a "window" hit the part where the walls dent), doors blow open, a vacuum is put on the room, hence all the smoke etc is sucked out, and at the end in the dark, the floor drops and takes you by surprise.

Like I say, its fun to try out once.

  • I know videos don't do attractions justice, but that was it??

  • Yes, that was it. Pretty underwhelming wasn't it?

  • Yes, quite. But I'm glad to have finally seen a video of this so I what it's about. This was rumored to be in DCA. Glad that didn't happen. It's just flames, lights, smoke, sound/noise, video, falling ceiling, and air/smoke effect. The fireball in the center I guess is the highlight. Thanks for the upload!

  • The pacing is the main problem. I think if they could improve that, it would make the attraction a lot better. I also think a larger, in-your-face, Imax-type image of the asteroid heading for the station would help. But as it is, the attraction is a disapointment.
