@100percentgamer nah, 0 to 27 peices is a bad ending, olimar dies. 27 to 28 is the normal ending, like shown. 29 to 30 is the good ending, no one is exactly sure what happens, most think he goes back for them, others think he comes back with more life support.

@JarodTreParmenter actually you can get the normal ending with atleast 25 parts if you get all the mandatory parts like the engine(the parts you need to actually fly). parts like the massage machine aren't needed(a good massage has nothing to do with flying). if you don't know cause you don't have high common sense, the 5 parts not needed are the space float(it's just a floaty) the nova blaster(just a weapon)the piggy bank thing(explanatory)the massage machine(above) and the uvlamp(taningmachine

The best way to defeat the final boss is to get the yellow pikmin with the bomb rock in front of it as soon as it opens it s mouth wistle the pikmin away from it. If the timing is right, when the emperor bulblax's tongue touches the bomb, it will explode, its tongue will slap its face, and stun it longer than the easier way, the timing is just harder.
