UFO: Ottawa River ORB

I would love to make a quick outing to the Ottawa River and see what apears to be An extraterestrial object!!

I saw an orange orb last night, July 1, 2011. This happened in Aylmer, Quebec, Canada at aproximately 10:25pm. It was moving across the sky then stoped and didn't move for about 1-2min then shot straight up into the sky and disapeared past the stars which only took about 1 min to do. Weirdest thing I ever saw. This was not a chinese lantern and I don't believe it was a hologram. This was very close and I got a good look.

Yes it is too bad this video did not have more cloud references. I did nootice the other high speed object that passed by. In the mid to late 1980's I had the good fortune to see a high speed UFO pass over the Quebec side of the Ottawa River from Orleans. This cylindrical UFO was written up in the Ottawa Citizen at the time and was seen by several Carleton University students. The exact date of this sighting is unclear. My location was Jamison & Duford Streets at the top of the hill.

We get alot of these where I Live close to Windsor in southern Ontario. Where I live is in one of the largest airplane flight paths and at night these things are very visible darting around high above. The Jets and Planes are much brighter, lower and fly in a straight path at a steady speed, but if you look well above the jets you can see these little things moving all over, sometimes hovering and always changing speeds, its very weird...

I just saw 2 of these yesterday at about 11:00AM on my way up to London, ON. Perfect shiny orbs floating and then disappeared! There were absoulutely no clouds! Strange.....

Go to Youtube Video "Ufo, Black Flying Object in the Sky". I saw one exactly like in this video tonight, Feb. 14th, 2010 around 6:20 pm in Ottawa (Riverside South). It moved in a straight line and it didn't flutter or bounce...just kept going at a constant pace, even into a head wind.

I seen a Orb in Scottsdale Az about this time of the year / last year..2008

It was about 12:00 noon "day time" and a clear sky except for this very brigh looking orb.. I remember think I wish I had something to gage it`s size..

A few minutes LATER!

It dropped between me and a tree at the distance of about 100 yard away..

I WOULD GUESS IT TO BE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SOFT BALL..

This is a real phenomena and don`t let any one tell you it not..

i live in orleans too but what i saw was like a helicopter sort shape but 3times it and that evening i saw it there was like 200 people saying they saw a ufo

Nope, not July's event. This orb was 2 years ago. As for last July's, I heard it from 3 km away. Went out and video'd search effort. They found nothing. I found what I thought were geese or ducks on the water but I don't know... were a bunch of black and grey "bubbles." Too dark to tell though but I do have one frame using super nightshot of something that looks like a bunch of silver orbs on the water. Did see a little bit of UFO activity over the summer though. Last was around August 18.

at 0:42 theres another orb to the right jet staright up and right by the other orb...

Something passes at :40 - 43 at an amazing speed, coming in from the bottom right and up top right.

That's what I find amazing about this video.

Also it is real time in the yard, sun is behind it, looks to be about 5 or 6pm, so it's not a star or a planet.

It's an excellent video to bad you couldn't get more cloud in with the shot to verify distance and size. Excellent ufo though.

This thing was maybe a hundred yards away from me when I first spotted it. Looked about the size of a basketball. Rushed inside, grabbed camcorder, set it on balcony with tripod and tried to get the steadiest shot possible. Just when it settles down is when that other thingy (I didn't see 'til viewed) shoots through the scene.

ya I live in Orleans right near ottawa seen lots of weird objects in air. From what I've heard of this story there was several dozens of witnesses seeing something crash into water yet they say no debris or anything was found.

There is a UFO Research base off the Ottawa River (pretty sure its that one) and there is a Military base there too.

Wonder if it was a test or really a UFO.

Dude, I've seen those whenever I'd be out on the water as well. It would not be very big comparing it to the tree line and not very high from it. I'm not sure what they are since it just hovers then it will just fade away.

I have seen similar orbs at night in the Hunt Club area also.

White light, slowly moving across the sky, then speeds up dramatically and fades to red just before it disappears.

Thought I'd check out if anyone else has seen them. Apparently I'm not the only one.

It can also be a satellite. I've seen them before. If is moving at a fairly constant speed and direction that's what it probably is. If it moves around quickly and erratically, lands and asks for direction, then it's likely an American tourist.

These so called balloons have motor skills and 'orb observes space shuttle' is a close up what they look like. start filming the contrails slowly and you'll wonder who released all the balloons that seem to make them useful. After all contrail no longer dissipates.

I have to agree with guitarraeboy, it is indeed a balloon by the way it behaves.

It slowly takes altitude as it appears to shrink. The Sun reflects on it which make it very bright saturating the Camera CCD which keep us away from seeing the balloons details.
