I have made a very similar projector but ran in to a problem with 2 ribbon cables that get in the way of the screen, they connect the horizontal sides of the LCD to the vertical side. Did your screen also have this? .. if so how did you fix it? ive looked on Ebay for longer cables but can't find any..

not bad mate. first thing to do is change the globe in the OHP to a hight wattage and that will fix your brightness issue. also try using a sheet stretched tight over the wall, you cna get a screen but that money would better be spent on a Popper projector i think.

why is it so dark? you can punt pc fans under it and it will keep it cool,otherwise it will fry it.
