I think the game is great. It has originality and teamwork and is fast paced. Also if they added all of the parkour moves seen in the trailer, character movement would be hard to control, so its better this way.

(Smooth Movement Around Random Terrain) it's like a Mirrors Edge kinda system I guess, but in other words whatever you saw them do in this, like at 0:31 - 0:36 thats possible to do and so is at 1:14 - 1:43 is all possible to do in-game unlike some games that over exaggerate :D

I just watched the gameplay. This is one of those games where the trailer is complete bad ass, but the gameplay is sketching and rough. I just hope it plays smooth.
@ParsoProductions Your right, the trailer makes the game look bad ass, half of those things im not even sure you can do in the game! But I can reasure you that the gameplay is very smooth, but the servers seem a little laggy and so far Im really injoying the game online and offline. Its worth a try in my opinion.
The biggest number one thing that's making me fall in love of this game is simply the customization. I honestly can't think of any other FPS shooter on the consoles that has such a wide variety of character and weapons customization (especially character customizations) and that's only one feature of it. To think that there are actual separate classes, the S.M.A.R.T. movement system, and multiple other things is just mind blowing. More people needs to pay attention and become aware of this game.
Too bad Bethesda is abandoning it's female fanbase with this game. I was looking forward to the freerunning/parkour FPS combo. Bethesda has been good to us in the past, hopefully they will see the error of their ways and offer some DLC with female characters as an apology for leaving us out. Now that Mass Effect (a huge, detailed game) has shown the gaming world how to handle gender there is just no excuse. Viva la Skyrim!

Sure the Campaign might be short, but thats why you should make new players, to try and get new experiences. Also, I like the idea of how "multiplayer" works. If you lose to the other team, you have to replay that mission, but you face new people.

I mean, they guys are super customizable, would it have been so awful to have even a single option to play as a woman? It may be picky, but why go through all the trouble of making tons and tons of classes and customization and not include a single woman? Sounds cheap to me.

@XenoxMedia I agree, I've played this game for a few days now (I got most of my games early) and I have to say it's complete shit. This video make it look so damn good but it's complete garbage. The climbing system sucks ass and the guns are fucking trash. The campaign, multiplayer and challange modes are all the SAME FUCKING THING. What a shit game!

@AfterschoolEffects well this is only the "live action trailer" so it shows what the game can do and whats in it but it isnt totaly accurate in minor thingslike the health thing for the heavy class. im sure they (the heavy set class) can take more damage than others so thats why they showed him not dying from it.

I think that Bethesda should make Brink 2 a FPS tht is sorta like this with all the customization and features but in campaign have a dual story pick side of resistance(bad people) police(good) and customize but have the resistance b like the ira and try to overthrow the govt thn for multi create ur player and pick wich side hes only sorta like MAG

@fullmetalbunny there is no game like brink, there bringing in a new system called S.M.A.R.T. (Smooth Movement Around Random Terrain) it's like a Mirrors Edge kinda system I guess, but in other words whatever you saw them do in this, like at 0:31 - 0:36 thats possible to do and so is at 1:14 - 1:43 is all possible to do in-game unlike some games that over exaggerate :D

But I can reasure you that the gameplay is very smooth, but the servers seem a little laggy and so far Im really injoying the game online and offline. Its worth a try in my opinion.

The biggest number one thing that's making me fall in love of this game is simply the customization. I honestly can't think of any other FPS shooter on the consoles that has such a wide variety of character and weapons customization (especially character customizations) and that's only one feature of it. To think that there are actual separate classes, the S.M.A.R.T. movement system, and multiple other things is just mind blowing. More people needs to pay attention and become aware of this game.

Too bad Bethesda is abandoning it's female fanbase with this game. I was looking forward to the freerunning/parkour FPS combo. Bethesda has been good to us in the past, hopefully they will see the error of their ways and offer some DLC with female characters as an apology for leaving us out. Now that Mass Effect (a huge, detailed game) has shown the gaming world how to handle gender there is just no excuse. Viva la Skyrim!

okay i am "iffy" on buying this game... can anyone tell me how the multiplayer is? (i know it's not out yet but what i mean is: i heard that there is no TDM of any sort, i also heard that the campaign is pretty short.) is there a multiplayer mode? or just Freeplay mode, Campaign mode, and the competitive mode(i think thats what it is called? it's a points mode i think like an "arcade mode" in other games) basically what i am asking is... is this game going to get old quick by the looks of it?

@venomshadow94 what would be the point of TDM? This is a game focused on teamwork, not just going around killing everyone. Sure the Campaign might be short, but thats why you should make new players, to try and get new experiences. Also, I like the idea of how "multiplayer" works. If you lose to the other team, you have to replay that mission, but you face new people.
