if he is on meds, his speech will not be disorganized all the time. My boyfriends (3 of them) were all schizophrenic, and often they were very clear, but when they were having positive symptoms they would word salad, which is what he is doing from time to time. This is probably disorganized Schizophrenia, as you can see from the way he bounces from one topic to another.
