Howard Hewett stayed with Shalamar for 1 more album. They continued on for a few more singles. Very few people know that the real reason why Howard stayed on with the new lineup was because for contractual reasons, and pretty much had no choice. So he just made the best of it.

i found it funny how shalamar won a grammy after jeffrey and jody left...but they were the best....and why did howard stay with shalamar for 1 album and then leave the group...if he wouldve stayed they probably wouldve made more hits....and he was the hitmaker behind them anyways...so was jody...i think that is why she left because in the look...her and howard didnt have the duets he was all solo in the group then...they didnt have the duets like in the previous albums...

heck..its the onlyone that had somany hits...howard with free and davis only had 1 cdeven though it was a good one, it was the new wave stuff..this version of shalamar wasnt so good with the newwave i think...and the version with that sydney guy sucked totally...thats why their 2 albums were crap...i think shalamar wasnt meant or ready for a 2nd and 3rd generation shalamar...because they didnt go to the roots...even though the 2nd gen. won a grammy for their beverly hills song

They really should've ended Shalamar after the "Games" album with Micki Free taking charge. They shouldn't have kept it going.
