@ridgerunner721601 Yeah the old astros could have competed with the American League. They wouldn't have been swept in a world series. The 80's were a good decade for Houston. I wish I could say the same about Texas.

Houston has so much money man I don't know why they can't put together a winning team. My ideal world series would be Texas vs Houston (An 80's calibur or better Houston)

@Luigi84289 I think the problem is that besides our cornerstone players like Bidge and Bagwell getting old and retiring, the rest of the team got old too and apparently they had a lot of bad draft choices during the late '90s and 2000s. On top of that the team is for sale now and McLain obviously isn't interested in putting a winner on the field anymore. Our best bets for a W.S. champ were in 1998, 2004 and 2005. Finally won a pennant in '05, but the Series was a disaster.

@KingOfKingz819 Yea, about Channel 51, KNWS has changed (since early January) to KYAZ (which is now owned by Azteca America & Una Vez Más), so, the chances of the Astros having a "Retro Night" Game AT HOME would probably go to that new KUBE station (Channel 53). But, I just wanna see my20 go back to 20Vision FOR JUST ONE NIGHT! (Seeing the fact that in a year, KTXH will celebrate their 30th year on the air.) But still, as a 1990s kid, I would just LOVE to see the Astros and KTXH go retro once!
