i never met hector personally, but i would see him run his Volkswagen at Irwindale speedway, one fast machine he built. Late Happy Birthday Hector, my condolences go out to his family. God Bless you guys.

DAY since I heard from my father about his early departure. I will continue to think of Hector Urias every day until I die. I am also coming back to the VW race scene to help remember Hector. I am going to Remember him every time I win, as that is what we did

Great guy! Met Hector on our trip from Miami to Cali for the Classic. Hector invited us to his shop and offered us food and beer! Truly a standup guy even after only just meeting us. He introduced us to his local friends as "Mi Familia de Miami" (my family from Miami). We met up the following year at Nick's Burgers and it was like we been friends our whole life! We'll miss you Hector!
