@submerino Must admit that I no longer buy Agave Nectar. I use Grade B Maple Syrup, Stevia leaf or extract, Yacon Syrup, Sucanat (sometimes), or Coconut Sugar. For this recipe, a few drops of Stevia (use less than u think you need and work up) works great when you add sweetness of dried fruits, and fresh berries or other fruit for parfait.
I just ate some chia seeds with my uncooked oatmeal and it gave me a feeling of well being. Is that a normal response? Thanks for the recipe and I will give it a try.
I buy an agave nectar from Whole Foods that is dark amber in color and the label says it's raw. In fact, it's the only agave with the word "raw" on the label, which is why I bought it.

@bg11215 just because something says it is, doesn't mean it is. When Agave Nectar is extracted from the Cactus it goes through a heated process. :)
