IF they were forever he would understand Rachel is meant for NY and tried his hardest to follow her there. He didn't. His staying in Lima. She's not. End of story. If you actually look at Finn, you'd see that his character has depth and is actually like a real person. People aren't perfect, I'm sorry to say, and that's what I love about some of the characters on glee, Finn being one of them. He does things that a REAL person would do, not an ideal, unrealistic person, which we endlessly see in the media.

BUT at least he owns up to his fuck ups. Finn has never done that and I don't see him doing it either. At the very least he should have apologized for last Christmas. AND know that she's a vegan something very important. So feeding her meat a no no.
@mikawhofan I'm not sure why you're so stuck on him leaving her in a tree lot, that's not the worst thing he could have done to her. Also, Finn always owns up to everything he does. Name one time where he didn't. Whenever he has wronged Kurt, he has always stepped up to apologize, something a lot of people would not do.
Also, when has Finn ever stopped her from hanging out with friends? He has been more than supportive of her, and if anything has helped her become a better person.
@MissLillymodel unforntuately.. Finn is Riley/Dawson/Stephan. Sweet but boring. There's nothing about him that makes you want to root for him. Puck on the other hand is your Pacey/Spike/Damon a jerk most of the time but really sweet and the guy you ultimately want in the end.
@mikawhofan I really like that comparison, but of course down the road the "converted" Puck just turns into a Finn anyway, so even that comes with it's problems.
