lol i thought its obvious but apparently not. Disney isn't making this is 3D because its the new big thing, they're doing it because it might be one of the way to attract kids of this generation to also (like us) grow up watching the Disney classics, like Lion King and now, Beauty and the Beast. I'm almost 17 and i cried when i realized they're making this an HD 3D movie, at least now i can watch it perfectly, and kids nowadays will love it too!

I really hope this comes to cinemas in Australia, just not in fucking 3D! I seriously don't get why 3D movies seem to be the next big thing, it's shit. Especially in a classic movie like this which everyone's used to seeing in 2D. I mean, I can understand 3D being used for big action blockbusters and such, but Beauty and the Beast? Ugh...

I saw this in 3D today. In front of us in the line for tickets, there was a little girl, maybe two or three, wearing a Hannah Montana shirt and seeing this for the first time. All through the movie, she kept "ooh-ing" and "ah-ing." You could tell she really enjoyed it. After the movie, when we were leaving the theater, I saw her turn to her mom and say "Mommy, I don't wanna be Hannah Montana anymore. I wanna be a princess, like Belle."

Some faith has now been restored in the future generation.
