  • i just changed my stuff on my 69z50 thanks to these videos

  • Excellent help here thank you. The close up of the wire being connected to the points is what I needed to see. Amazing you did this for us. Thanks a lot.

  • @dmanbass make sure to subscribe

  • I've killed a few soldering guns through the years. Is there any way to resuscitate them? What actually happens when a gun burns out?

  • @spelunkerd i think the windings get burned out

  • @kball1313...You are correct. My bad. Yes, you should always use OEM specs. Eyeballing a points gap is not the way to go, as it would be a good way to be off.

    I appologize.

  • hi do you replace the pionts and condensor locking screws I find these are always well worn.

do you use a tripod to keep your camera steady.

  • Im sorry I could not hear where you can buy them cheaper? I need to buy a set for my sons bike. How much did you pay for the set you bought?

    Thanks

  • @ncrdisabled dratv dot com

  • another good video dony

  • wow..you have some interesting projects. enjoyed the JD project now the bikes.

  • So the felt is for holding grease for lubing the points? Nice vid.

  • @paisteboy yes and keeping the lobe nice and smooth

  • Good job as per-usual Dony!

  • @TheHossHobart

You never mentioned the F mark on the flywheel is where the gap is to be checked and the spec is .012-.016" . How to videos should use OEM specs and not eyeballing a points gap which has a huge effect on actual static timing.

  • that z50 looks like it's in really good shape. Are you going to start it up next video?

  • @adrienj67 yep, part 3 tommorrow
