  • Why is your head so red lol?

  • Bin Laden was Proud that day

  • you kinda remind me of howie mandal from deal or no deal

  • Rip Joe Stack you are a Hero!

  • taxes dont just go towards roads, they also go towards wars and making people rich

  • how come the twin towers collapsed and this didnt

  • @nb45001 becuse the towers exploded like it whas mined with bombs

  • @davvvvo oh yeah thanks.do many people in your country think that 911 is a conspiracy or not because i think it was.

  • @nb45001 this is what hit by a small plane with low fuel and low speeds. at the world trade center, it was hit at high speeds with a lot of fuel and a big plane. also, this building probably has concrete bracing while the world trade center didn't

  • wow

  • Damn this was so scary i was there in the building getting a drink of water... scary as hell

  • lol noob

  • lol

  • maaaan dis ol ratchet clank look ass motherfuker

  • KRATOS!!!!!

  • KRATOS!!!!!

  • I'm sorry but the use of "flying private projectiles" probably not the best words. or maybe my minds just in the gutter.

  • It's what the government does with our money that we should be concerned about.

See YT "Secrets of the Cia".

  • Did he record this on the shitter?

  • He's a plant.

  • It is interesting to recognise the bias of our media coverage, which labelled the entire incident as "violence". I wonder what our reaction would have been if the the perpetrator had been of Islamic background. Nice video Mark. Cheers, Alex

  • "Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." George Washington

  • PEACE IS WHAT WILL SET US FREE

  • i'm pretty damn liberal, and i have to say, taxation isn't a bad thing. it's the greedy people who are in charge of the tax money that i have a problem with!

  • HEY MAN eveybody should check out Austin city limits music festival this weekend. it gonna be a blast!...lol pete seger will be there for 2 shows doing white folk art gettin down music. its going to be a awsome party, so bring the fam and check it out.

  • As a proud American i must say this guy is a hero. Finally we have a local "martyr". The only travesty is the fact that he obviously hit the part of the complex where none of those bastards were situated.

  • If he was a "terrorist", I'm not terrified. The man wasn't trying to terrify me or anyone like me. If there are any more like him who intend similar violent acts, I'm still not terrified. The IRS however does terrify me... For them to expect my sympathy or understanding when they've shown me and innumerable others none is asinine. Fuck em.

  • Haha! At least I am not in Austin anymore. I am glad about that.

  • I Am The Meek I legally own this planet and I have a dirt Bike It does Not need a road It will go places where there are No roads But I can Not go to the store on It without running over some bob wire fences or crossing the road therefore I pay several hundred dollars a year so that I will have the privilege of using the roads.

  • I wonder if the plane will be considered a loss for tax purposes?

  • lol @ the simpletons who keep missing the point.

  • Joe Stack was a worthless tax evading fuck-stick. Anybody who owns a private airplane is certainly NOT oppressed by the government. This irresponsible clown was a failure who went off his nut.

  • Everyone can be opressed by the government. The IRS gets everybody.

  • talk about "TERRORISM"! I guess the IRS runs the show on filling folks with fear and terror in every phone call!

  • Thank goodness this nut attacked the scum that inhabit the IRS offices... I applaud and raise a glass to this guy!

  • @chrisatyou Yes a Person should pay Their fair share of taxes but Not to the Illuminati government. you pile of worthless jezebel Dog vomit.

  • TAXES in TEXAS!! The federal reserve, greedy wall street, and irs, will all meet their end very soon! -TX

  • This guy's stupidity is too common. If he was so pissed about how much he pays in taxes or -- more reasonably -- how the tax money is getting spent, he should have aimed the plane at senators. They may the decisions: the IRS people are just doing a job.

  • A guy that owns a private plane gets so crazy about taxes that he kamakazis it on an IRS building? Not buying it...

  • @losplatosdemaria um dude it happened the other day. BTW agreed mark

  • Nicholad99, I'm not sure that you're getting what astonished me. This guy has enough dough to fly his own private plane into an IRS building... how oppressed could he have been by his taxes if he owns a private plane???

  • I see what your saying. Being astonished that someone who has enough money to throw around like that getting nutty about paying his taxes. Sorry, not so quick on the uptake all the time. Tell ya what though, those penalties can be a bitch. Or maybe he got caught straight up cheating. Have they released his income and tax information to the media yet?

  • @losplatosdemaria he also light his house on fire when leaving to head to george town to get in his plane and do this the only reason only 1 person was killed was because he went low too early and hit a car winsheild...the guy was okay (winsheild didnt shatter) and then hit a rock wall infront of the building causing the plane to flip

  • bla bla bla bla. shut up

  • Find your god damn earring Mark.

  • I pick option 3 ^___^ whoo hoo alcohol and fruit based drinks FTW Also I'm a Libertarian some things the government needs to take care of like roads crap like that that is needed but no one would really pay for it themselves but is good for everyone. That stuff I want the government to do so we don't have bridges collapse. So no worries. ^__^

  • Amen to that!

I think thats the lesson we can all learn from this. We cannot be a civilized society if the taxpayers are following the law and the elected public servants are not.

If we cant find our way back to the rule of law we will degenerate further into slavery or anarchy.

  • @MilitaryTacticalGear

If I get any further into slavery, Harriet Tubman will start knocking on my door.

  • Hes already knocked. And most of the sheep didnt seem to know or care.

  • She MTG... Harriet Tubman was a she.

  • that looked like a he, a he.

pardon my negro sexing is not what it used to be. I have a hard enough time keeping up with the lastest terms for just what to call them. I stopped trying, they will no sooner dictact my vocabulary, then I theirs.

  • @MilitaryTacticalGear

LMAO... are you hoping to eventually come out above ground if you just keep on digging? I guess I can safely add ignorance and racism to your growing list of faults.

PS: Here's a hint for free, the "latest term" ISN'T "negro". I'll let you figure out the rest... clever guy like you, shouldn't be a problem.

  • so without knowing me you can label me racist? you may want to look up Predjudice... pre Judging is wrong when you dont have the facts.

you may want to add ignorance and ironic hypocrisy to your list.

again, I dont care what folks are calling themselves these days. We are all Americans or we are not. Period. an idiot like yourself couldnt have seen the devisive nature of the hypenated amerika scam. but the rest of us have.

  • Oh, so you just accidentally used an obviously antiquated and inflamatory racial term... and you knew that Harriet Tubman was a woman, you just chose to call her a man as some sort of "clever" joke... suuure. I'll be sure to add "poor liar" to the list.

"you may want to add ignorance and ironic hypocrisy to your list."

Sure thing, boss. You an ignorant, racist, ironic hypocrite and a poor liar.

  • he should have aimed for Goldman Sachs

  • i live in austin

  • Hmmm . . . the IRS suck but man . . . a bit overkill. I mean really . . . I doubt you Americans have got this far to start plane bombing government buildings.

  • Comment removed

  • We need to get rid of the IRS and stop paying taxes to an Evil and Corrupt Government.

The IRS brought this upon themselves by Stealing the hard earned money of the American people.

The IRS has RAPED the American people long enough.

Maybe this is a wake up call to the Feds.

  • actually it's the Federal Reserve and the Wall Street banks

know who the hell the enemy is

people at the irs are making a living - they don't write the laws - Congress does

  • Who needs roads or a system to make sure our food, air, and water are safe enough for us to eat/breathe/drink, a national mail service, a safe working environment, or protection from fire or criminals?

    Pussies.

All I need is my money. Oh, you want some because the education at your public school wasn't up to par? Bootstraps, my friend.

    Fuck you, got mine.

  • Psst... if you work in the banking industry, you pay a crapload of taxes.

  • Psst... Phuck the banking industry, if it wasn't for working people they rob everyday, they wouldn't phucking exist. Americans corporate tax isn't even in the top 5 in the world when it comes to % and we are the richest country. Crapload...a crapload of profits...a crapload of poverty... and a crapload of bullsh!t.

  • So, you're saying that because it's the richest country in the world, it should... have the highest corporate taxes in the world? Or something? It is not unlikely that the relatively low corporate tax is part of the reason for the country's wealth (or at the very least that they share common causes).

It's cute how you speak of "a crapload of bullshit" when you yourself are so painfully ignorant. There are things called "facts", and you appear to be eschewing them in favour of "emotions".

  • Those are the FACTS... Do some research before repeating what you hear on TV. Ignorance is a person like you repeating media propaganda. America's corporate taxiation as a % of GDP is around 2%... some countries are around 8% like Norway and Luxembourg. Spit that shit some place else.

  • If there were no taxes allot of CPA's would be out of work.

  • The punchline is that he was being investigated for having a great deal of undocumented income. And the plane was his. I'm sorry but this guy had nothing to complain about. If it had been a guy driven to bankruptcy and homelessness by the IRS then at least he'd have a reason to be angry.

  • Take a few minutes and go to the 'smoking gun' and read this man's manifesto. Where as I most definetly don't agree with his actions, it is an interesting read into his mindset.

  • @ourher0, You must come from a comfortable life of priveledge to think that way. How many jobs do you have? Do you even live in the US? Any person with any sense could understand that you don't have to be paying EVERY tax I listed to have it chew into your wages and make it difficult to have anything and raise a family.

  • @typicalwhiteguy33, you made a huge list of every single tax, my point was someone might just look at the list and go "WTF GOV'T WHY ARE WE PAYING SO MANY TAXES?" I come from a lower middle class family and work 2 jobs and am a full time student. hard for my money, I pay my taxes and hardly use the services they pay for. I'm from canada, so I know things work differently, but I still lose like 25%+ of my paychecks to taxes and insurance. I don't appreciate your Ad Hominem argument though.

  • @typicalwhiteguy33 no pity for people who get themselves in trouble with the IRS. It's the same in every country, you don't pay taxes, you need to pay up. It's called budgetting. I've been in school my whole life and never took a student loan. I don't drive a car, cause I can't afford a drivers license or insurance payments. The problem comes in when people go over what they can afford. Maybe the US has too many useless taxes? maybe. That is bad. but taxes do have a purpose, atleast in canada.

  • Here's something you will hardly ever see on youtube--my apologies for assuming. And yes my reason for posting the long list was for people to ask WTF GOVT WHY ARE WE PAYING SO MANY TAXES? Since you're a student PLEASE take the time to read Frederic Bastiat's THE LAW its very short and online. Its probably required reading in Canada too. Then send me a pm if you think different.

  • His business failed. He got in trouble with the IRS. So he decided to do a mini-9/11. That's not heroic.

The brave, the truly heroic thing would have been to get a job, just like so many millions of true constitutional heroes do every day.

My respect and admiration goes not to those individuals who allow themselves to be driven into acts of desperation -- although they do have my compassion -- but to those who manage to live responsibly in spite of everything.

  • Well said, Prof.

  • And....State Income Tax,

State Unemployment Tax, Telephone federal excise tax, Telephone federal universal service fee tax, Telephone federal, state and local surcharge taxes,

Telephone minimum usage surcharge tax, Telephone recurring and non-recurring charges tax, Telephone state and local tax, Telephone usage charge tax, Trailer registration tax, Utility Taxes,

Vehicle License Registration Tax, Vehicle Sales Tax, Watercraft registration Tax, Well Permit Tax, Workers Compensation Tax.

  • don' t forget....Marriage License Tax, Medicare Tax, Property Tax,

Septic Permit Tax, Service Charge Taxes

Social Security Tax, Road Usage Taxes (Truckers), Sales Taxes, Recreational Vehicle Tax, Road Toll Booth Taxes, School IncomeTax.

  • Continuing....., Dog License Tax

Federal Income Tax, Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA), Food License Tax, Fuel permit tax

Gasoline Tax, Inheritance, Tax Interest expense,Inventory tax IRS Interest Charges (tax on top of tax),IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax),Liquor Tax, Local Income Tax, Luxury Taxes,

  • Here's just a few of the taxes we pay in the US. Accounts Receivable Tax, Building Permit Tax, Capital Gains Tax,

CDL license Tax, Cigarette Tax, Corporate Income Tax.

  • Roads in the US are funded by federal and state gasoline excise taxes, conveyance fees (taxes), vehicle registration fees (taxes), drivers license fees (taxes) and by traffic fines etc.

Not Income taxes. Private banks, failed auto companies, accountants, welfare/ warfare programs etc. etc. are paid for by the federal tax system in the US.

  • IRS 1985 not 1965. Written by GOP-Dem Terror Corp enriching government by-corporation even fatter. Maybe airplanes into buildings are a newly-discovered "diet plan" for The Corporate Welfare Terror State of Texas? .since we know voting for change is a joke. I wonder if GOP-Dem Corp hears the airplanes rev'ving up for takeoff?..as they leglislate the next generations' dead livlihoods into Exxon, Blackwater, Goldman, Citibank BP and Halliburton's bank accounts & oil colonizations? Iran next. Nope

  • As a friend said, "Next time I need to come up with some cash to pay taxes, I'll sell my plane."

  • GOP Terror Corp Government authored 1965 by GOP TerrorCorp roosting back home now. Mitt Romney's Corp can re-build GOP's IRS corp-welfare nest. How's GOP Terror Corp working out for the corporate welfare state at IRS? The only tool that Dickless Chickenhawk Cheney's GOP Terror Corp gets is more terror. Obama is Cheney's Pet Negro whipping-boy 100% corporate owned & operated like GWB Pet Goat . Change was a campaign joke from lying Obama leaving "non-terror" terror US media spin hahha. US gone.

  • Roads are paid for by the gasoline tax. Most of the money collected by the I.R.S. in the name of the federal government gets sent ultimately to the owners of the privately owned Central Banks like the Federal Reserve. The member banks are privately owned by commercial banks which in turn are owned by individuals like David Rockefeller et al. I am sure you mean well but do some homework and know who Dorothy Kilgallen was and a group of reporters that were going to expose the murder of J.F.K.

  • You gotta wonder how bad this guy's tax problems really were if he still had a $120,000+ airplane to crash into a building.

  • That's a good point, actually

  • not all libetarians are for zero taxes. you forgot the classical liberals in that group. but nice video over all.

  • Christ, the conspiracy nuts are already at it... don't you people ever just take a moment to enjoy reality?

  • go watch glen beck, i bet thats ur reality

  • @solimiansky

The fuck are you even talking about? What gives the impression that I think Glenn Beck is anything other than a lack-witted fucktard?

    Anyways, nice try...

  • The Same building my Step Brother Works in. All he lost was his Laptop. He doesn't work for the IRS he works for an Independent Company whom shares the Building on the Upper levels.

  • It was actually on his Company Web page that he posted it! He was Jobless for a year and didn't file taxes for that year So the IRS did an Audit and decided he owed Hundreds and Hundreds of Dollars. This Made him Angry and From what I have heard, since I live here in Austin, That the IRS was threating to take his home away causing a fight between him and his wife. Then He Fliped his lid. Wrote His 6pge Reasons on his COMPANY Website, Burned his House down, then Crash HIS OWN plane into the IRS.

  • Irony: He must have paid a sales tax on the plane he flew into the IRS building, in a statement against taxes. Point being, he paid taxes in order to make a statement against them.

  • Ask any IRS agent to show you the law for paying Income tax. They will tell you anything and everything even audit you in hopes that you owe so they can threaten you with jail time. Just to scare you into believing you owe taxes. One thing that they will NEVER be able to do is SHOW YOU LEGAL DOCUMENTATION "THE LAW" which shows that you have to pay Income Tax. The guy flying the plane may be a MARTYR.......

  • But what the fuck right does he have to go around killing people? I doubt this will make his argument convincing to anyone.

  • You're right, he has no right to do what he did. Now you can go along with your controlled life and live like it never happened. Our Government sends our kids to die in a war that doesn't matter and you still go shopping. So why worry about more dead people. STEP OUT OF YOUR SECURED LIFE AND SEE WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON. You can say you care but we're still treated like shit. If you haven't been screwed yet YOU WILL BE....!!! With our freedoms being removed you will soon feel the WRATH.

  • I'm not really against libertarianism if that's what you thought; I tend to be agnostic on economics and liberal in my social views. What I am against is people who are slaves to there own political opinions, sometimes to the point of suicide. All political ideology is corruptible even libertarianism. Pretending that killing people is the solution isn't right.

  • strange, eyewitnesses reported that fire dept. and FBI anti terrorsit task force was there before the crash, just like oklahoma bombing, INSIDE JOB

  • yep!

  • Well I guess somebody hated taxes and had the IRS up his arse. LOL.

By the way, I'm Nutral, that's Neither of any political party, I go with what sounds best to me.

Also, I like taxes, they keep the plows on the roads and keep the power from going out and staying out for far too long.

That and they also pay for schools and grants...so...yeah, you can see where I am going with this one here.

  • I mean seriously, if you're unhappy with how much you pay on taxes, it's really stupid to take actions that result in your death. Because even in the very off chance that your message is heard, it doesn't really do you any good.

    Just my thoughts...

  • I live down here in San Antonio. Acording to the local news, he burnt his house down before leaving, and stole the plane. He was killed in the crash, two people were taken to the hospital, and one person is missing. He also had a wife and kid, but as of the last report, they hadn't herd anything about them.

Also, they said that the entire building wasn't IRS, there were offices for other companies in it. He just hit the floors with the IRS offices in them.

Pretty fraked up if you ask me.

  • Taxation is robbery. If anyone else tries this they are labeled a thief. Mark, private road existed long before the government started making roads. It is a joke among libertarians.

  • I live in Austin. He lived really close to my school. He set his house on fire before he got into the plane. We could see it as we came in to school and smell the smoke in our classrooms. We were all sad and sympathetic for the family that had lost their home.

In 2nd period text messages started flooding our phones about a plane crash near the Arboretum, a popular shopping center. We still didn't know that they were connected or on purpose.

  • In my 7th period, the last of the day, my health teacher explained everything that had happened.

I'm disappointed that this happened at all, especially in Austin. I wish people knew our city to be one filled with awesome live music and peace loving, laid back people -like it is- not terrorists.

  • not good to label someone you dont even know. Joe was an angry amerikan sure, but only he knows his reasons.

Do you feel terrorized? doenst losing your freedoms terrorize you even more? who is taking your freedoms, muslims or congress?

  • I would hesitate to call this man a "terrorist" dana.

While his actions seem drastic and extreme, please do go and read his "pound of flesh" article.

I confess- I really liked it!

  • I don't know if I consider him a terrorist myself.

It's just that plenty of other people have been and I just wish Austin wasn't labeled like this.

  • Fair enough dana. At least you can say that folks living in Austin have the balls to see their will done (but I guess that's not much of a consolation prize if one is very municipally patriotic).

    Fair.

I'd feel honored myself if the people I called neighbors had just a quarter of the testicular fortitude this guy did... but I would feel ashamed that some foreign invader was stressing them out to the point of suicide.

I can see what u mean.

  • Thanks for sharing that. It's really easy to forget the human element in a discussion that has already become so polarized.

  • You can't really do away with the IRS. The criminal justice system uses the IRS a lot. How many folks get a laundry list of charges, about to be found not guilty, but then get nailed to tax evasion? My guess is a lot.

  • Tax "cheats":

Ed & Elaine Brown, Irwin Schiff ... both of which come to mind, but I'm certain there are MANY more.

The fella in Nevada who paid his employees in US Tendered Gold coins has beaten EVERY charge the IRS has thrown at him (only face value is taxable, therefore a $50 face value gold coin (worth $1,100 on the street) is the taxable amount).

We'd be wise to get rid of the IRS, just like the DEA.

  • You are very Canadian for an ex pat Scot,

  • sorry, it seems too fishy...

  • lol. what a stupid idea. no taxes? seriously? i can see the point as far as where the money is going and wether or not its effective, but without taxes the USA couldnt function... if you even consider what it is doing now as functional lol

btw mark - anyone whos flying a private jet dosnt have any room to be whining about taxes, i agree XD

  • just waste of life

  • ...he flew that plane into an IRS building after being ass-raped by a gang of thugs that say they're not raping you...

JOE STACK IS A HERO in the Constitutional union.

  • @brockal Riiiight....NO!

  • Oh, well... that's fair to disagree.

Praytell- how is that the IRS terrorizes citizens to pay a "direct apportioned tax" when the Constitution directly forbids it?

Praytell- how can one "voluntarily assess" their income taxes without forfeiting their 5th amendment right not to give testimony against themselves (all information on a 1040 can and will be used against you in a court of law).

  • Praytell- when did murder become legal?

Seriously brockal... killing people to put an exclamation point at the end of your suicide note/manifesto is as cowardly it is ineffectual.

  • He should have just written his manifesto, politicized his arrest, and gone to jail to make his point.

  • @jussts

Good question Jussts... I have been troubled by evidences I have witnessed, same as you.

I think of all the Koreans, the Vietnamese, those in Grenada, Serbia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, the women and children in Waco, Tx, the teenager and his baby-holding mother in Idaho who were murdered, and I ask the same question-

    When did murder become legal?

Why do people allow public servants to just "make up the law" as they go?

We are a nation of laws, or we live in anarchy.

    Good question!

  • It's not my fault you have to pay taxes like everyone else who lives here. Move if you hate it so much. I mean, you're wishing death upon innocent people.. you seem to hate it enough. Why not move? Oh wait, you don't want to put forth that much effort so you're just gonna complain about it. Seen it before.

  • Odd.. I just watched Stranger than Fiction this past weekend.

  • Mark, IRS agents take an oath to uphold the constitution.

The constitution does not give the Federal Government the power to tax wages.

Some people have a very sensitive feeling of justice. And they can get very angry when those that are supposed to bring justice (the government in this case) violates the laws.

Not that I want it to go this way, but if this bankster rip-off goes on and on, I won't be surprised if more incidents like this happen.

  • Any suicide that is done in a flashy, public manner is a way to draw that last bit of negative attention to yourself before death. He just happened to be able to do it in an even more spectacular manner. He was probably a bit mad (as in, insane).

It was stupid. Yes, we're overtaxed. Taxes are a big issue here in WA state right now so I know the feeling. But SOME taxes ARE needed and quite fair.

The "each man for himself" idea works great, if you're already rich or powerful, but I'm not.

  • I'm not a fan of taxes by any stretch of the imagination but the guy had his own plane. Isn't there a saying, "Never feel bad for anyone that has their own private plane"?!?!

This guy was a fucking stupid ass cry baby that's roasting in hell right now. And if hell is everybody's own worst personal nightmare then there's no doubt in my mind this guy is being audited by a demon as we speak:)

  • @kevinbrueck

What's your source? Have you been there?

  • 5/5 angry tax payers

  • We are going to see more and more events like this, Mark, until the government loosens its hold on its populace and quits fucking us over for the benefit and glory of the rich that decides who gets elected.

Either that or there's an armed rebellion, but the French learned that rebellion only works to a certain extent.

  • hahaha i see your point - but since when have taxes ever gone towards anything useful? they have always just given us enough to keep us quiet then piss the rest away XD

  • A typical Scottish Socialist. Taxation=Good no matter what the circumstances or the amount the government pisses up the wall. In the UK this is approximately £100 billion a year.

  • yeah crazy stuff. i bet john travolta flies his plane into the academy awards ceremony for failing to nominate him as best actor for his incredible work in old dogs.

  • Yes, roads are good.

  • Flying Private Projectiles. HA!!

  • Mark needs to read Walter Block. You can love roads and still pay no taxes. It might be inconvenient for someone who likes to mooch off of the injustice forced unto others, but it's far from impossible to achieve.

  • test

  • Corporations who own & operate the former US Government can rebuild their IRS wealth-transfer nest. Since the wealthiest 1.5 % of US corporate robber barrons pay 16.3% avg. tax rate as their serf employees pay tax @ 30-35% rates, GOP-DEM Corp can erase their serfs' pay finally sending the 3-4 last US jobs to India. That way US citizen-serfs can't afford airplanes to fly into corporate owned gov. buildings. Problem solved. Corporate welfare authored by corrupt corporate government doing great

  • This is very bad. People take their own lives, this guy today recently family of 7 in california. Not to forgrt Madoff's victims, etc.

This is going straight to civil war. It can overnight like in Yugoslavia or Hungary or Russia Oct 17...

How long do you think you will keep your job or business in this folling system!?!

new Country is coming NO TAX read: Free to Be Me by Arthur Vonshtain.

    Hell to IRS!

  • Comment removed

  • it would be hilarious to see the pro-tax side crush the anti-tax side because of their resource advantage

  • @mitchumsport

The one to shoot randomly first will loose...

  • werent the british pro tax?

    werent the colonists anti tax?

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    lol.

  • I'm guessing that a civil war being the people versus the government, but that will only work to some extent. All that it will accomplish is replace the old guard with just another set of bosses. The new bosses might be more benevolent and learn from the mistakes of those that were rebelled against, but the need for armed rebellion constantly recurs throughout history, making me think that perhaps other alternatives should be considered.

    3rd party, anyone?

  • How about peaceful revolution? If everyone were to be fed up enough that everyone quit their jobs, and stopped providing taxes... (even a majority) It would hit them right where it hurts.

  • Excellent point Franz- I fully concur.

There needn't be anything violent to change things. You're right, if PEOPLE JUST SIMPLY STOPPED VOLUNTARILY ASSESSING THEIR TAXES, I'm certain it would make a peaceful change (but consult your tax lawyer- this is not legal advice ;-)

  • Here is how it really works....over that last year or so the Fed printed buckets of money and gave it to themselves, the banks and other Wallstreet criminal friends, and who knows where else it has gone. This is why they need to be audited. Now, so all the money they printed still has value they raise your taxes and my taxes to take money out of the system. This insures that the money they gave themselves has value. In this way they are stealing from regular old good people like you and me.

  • You do realize that people who work for the IRS don't have steaing all your money in mind. Maybe they just need a job? YouTube comment crusaders aren't really worth worrying about though.

  • The IRS is strict because they ask for money, and if someone doesn't pay, they are stealing. The government asks for alot because the economy is down, and the government can't afford anything. The economy is bad because of people who weren't smart enough to just buy a house of a decent size that they can afford. So, don't blame the government, blame the people.

  • that happened earlier today next to my office building earlier he burned down his own house.

  • Violence is not the answer here and in most other cases. Violence is only if you are defending yourself, though if the aggressor didn't start in the first place there would be no need for violence at all.

That being said, I denounce this anti-tax action. It ruins it for the rest of us peaceful conservatives(albeit peaceful in no way means passive) who just don't want government breathing down our necks.

Oh yes, and I love roads, too.

  • solution sell your lil plane n pay ur tax

  • Wow. Such an epic answer for such poor grammar. You, good Sir, are win.

  • @sagemslott Figured you weren't from the states.

  • @sagemslott

I think you are right. If he can afford a private plane he can afford to pay his fair share of taxes.

I read in his online suicide note that his tax problems came from a very bad decision that he himself made.

I wonder why he didn't take his revenge out on the people who told him he could be tax exempt like a church - and get away with it. And then instead of spending his energy on doing the right thing - he spent years just floundering in ineffective wastes of his time.

  • If anyone's actually read the letter he wrong, he cites a lot of facts about the IRS in it. I don't think he was particularly "anti-tax paying", but just anti-IRS as an organization. The IRS has been known to drive people over the edge like this, even if they are just individual nutters.

Personally, I believe the tea party movement was like a gold nugget in a pile of shit: all the good points it brought up were outweighed by the extremist side of the right-wingers.

  • Sorry, I meant *wrote.

  • I can understand this guys motives. It definitely doesn't give anti-tax people a good rep. I'm an anarchist and i think roads and fire companies and all those things can be payed for peacefully instead of our version of taxation (pay taxes or die)

  • Too bad he didn't know he didn't even have to pay those taxes legally as there is NO law that states anyone has to pay them.
