@Roxy4ever71 The biggest fear of most Ghost Hunters is to see a ghost in full person infront of them. Ghost Adventures (if you know them) had a show on a hospital, where one of the members (Nik) saw his biggest fear right in the eyes. He used night version on his camera, looked away while asking something, looked again and saw a woman dressed in a white dress with an angry look. He screamed (Remember he works with ghost for a living), and told that he really got scared. The camera frozed.
I visitied this hotel today, and im 11, only one year older than the two kid ghosts there. On the 4th floor, they tugged on my skirt and threw a ball at me. :) I played with them, and they said "play with us, forever, please?"
Yeah Im still a skeptic when it comes to possessions its just really hard for me to believe in that stuff..
Ghost Adventures is my fav one but they are different story TAPS helps people out GA is in it for their experience which is what I like about them. Aaron kicks ass haha!
@leifer25 sme rooms are more expencive some seasons.you can get a 200 doller one on the haunted floor or an 87 doller one sometimes thease are one night prices
If you don't mind me asking, could you tell me how much it cost to stay a night in 401, and in 217, if you know? If not, I understand but it'd be great to know.
i walked around here at nine pm today and i walked few a cold spots it was really weird. when i tried to walk back through them it was gone. it was in the area down stairs where the bar is. also outside right outside that room where they have the umberellas and tables the chairs were normally on the ground and there were probably a good 60 or 80 chairs we walkup the stairs to the parking lot stopped and walked back down. when we passed the chairs again all were leaned forward on the tables.
I stayed in room 212. I heard coices say HELLO and weird stuff like tht. i was right by room 217!!! Next time we are gonna stay there we are gonna aske to say in room 217. oh and one of the rooms that are really haunted somebody famouse ran out of there screaming!!! I forgot who but when i went there i saw (Paranormal state) the ghost hunting show. they were going into different rooms and having ghost tours!!!! I go to take pics with the (Paranormal state) people!!!! IT WAS A WAESOME STAY
you know what of been funny and good for the hotel?? Is when you was looking at the little window in the elevator you seen a face go by real fast!! Good pranks hahah
i am a fan of TAPS i am glad it's mentioned. i am also a fan of the hotel i know a lot about it but i have never been there.i want to stay in room 417.B.T.W. that is not the second most active room.not even close but i know it has activity. the whole fourth floor does AND I WOULD LIKE 2 KNOW IF U HEARD CHILDREN IN THE HALL!!! and i have seen the TAPS episode for this
We stayed in room 217 on our wedding night, and our 1 year anniversary. We wanted something to happen, but it never did:( Maybe this year for our 5th anniversary:)
omfg! 2:30. go there and look at the very bottom of the waterfall thing. u can see almost a ghost like object go under and then up at the end of the waterfall. freaky... 2:30
I loved RM 401. We were able to catch a clip of a hanger in the closet slowly spinning in one direction..and then stop and spin in the other direction. The bathroom tour opened by itself, and the shower turned on by itself. My friend also woke me up at 3am because she said she felt someone sit down on the bed next to her.
C: I would have loved to feel someone sit on the bed next to me! The showers at Stanley are pretty wonky to begin with, so the turning off and on doesn't surprise me but lucky you at the hanger! :]
If you read it correctly, it is clearly stated that the door opening was when TAPS was there. It did crack open once after I had been in the patio, and quite obviously I do not have the equipment that TAPS does so I could not keep a video camera on that door 24/7.
I stayed in march on the fourth floor in room 404. and at around... 230 in the morning I heard kids giggling, people walking around. It was kind of annoying. Of course I wasn't sure what to think >.>
I stayed on the 4th floor a few weeks ago it was sweet the sink turned on i heard foot stephs around are room id go back again this time i wanna stay in room 401
In the comentary version they said that some of the corridors ant the apartment that the lived in while at the hotel and 217 everthing else was real all of the shots of the lobby were real i think
its not even the right hotal the right hotel is called th Timberline lodge atMt Hood look atthe movies and look atthe pictures of each hotel its obvious!!!
It would be nice if people got their facts right; King stayed at The Stanley in 1974 while living in Boulder, CO. That is where he got the inspiration to write The Shining. When the rights were sold to Kubrick, the director didn't feel the town nor hotel fit so he filmed outside shots at Timberline, then moved the rest of the filming to the UK. King later remade it in a four-part tv miniseries, which was filmed at The Stanley.
no it's not! It's called the Stanley Hotel. And just because in the movies it says it's called something else, doesn't mean that's the real name. and If you're talking about The Shining and Dumb and Dumber, of course they're gonna change the name. they didn't want to take the actual name of it and make it their own. you gotta think these things through dude
It wasn't an evp. It was the girl saying "which way does it go?" while she was trying to decide which way was the proper way to insert the access card.
The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The room prices vary depending on what floor/room you want, & what season you go. Room 401 was $239 per night at the time we stayed.
